On studying the share activity it seems that what was really happening was MM's unloading a large institutional sell over a period of some weeks. It appears that when this overhang of stock was cleared it left the way for an upsurge - helped of course by the positive analyst comments of late. | 19/11/2001 17:27 | More large late night trades - what is a trade type VW? I looked on the LSE website for help - - and trade type VW is not listed. There is also a UT type trade showing . A "U" trade is an "Uncrossing Trade" and T is "single protected" - I guess these are inter MM trades? Any ideas anyone? | grosvenor | |
