It is interesting that a reasonably large buy went in on MONDAY which was possibly the start of the new year?
The monday when numbers in for real (bums on seats known for sure)

Dont panic I'm here for when it reaches ONE POUND a share.I just feel it might be good to present to some institutions - this clearly is a good bet.

Myself I wouldn't be at all surprised that some trades today and last yesterday are ISA linked ?

Typing from a tablet, not easy to see all at once, but to me a 4487 buy ,which is followed by a 862 buy,so people of these size buys are in my opinion are buyers and holders for considerable time, yes small by comparison of a 50k sell, but will eventually call a balance.
Nobody knows how many Milton are going to sell at this time, but they've made holders spookey I feel, so don't buy what you can afford to lose is my moto, large or small. Gla lth,s

Miton declared 9.85% = 12,926,837

Looks like 13M to me :)

in error so deleted

13% versus 13M

13M for Miton was correct at ~2nd Sept
while % is 9.85% now & not 13%, which is roughly what they held X weeks ago

Miton has been mentioned a lot recently

I see the Miton shares are up 25% today.

does that signal a change in sentiment there...& phps the end of ppl cashing in in their holdings in Miton funds, ( forced Miton to do some sales of their holdings in funds to produce the needed cash)

incl. hopefully the end of Miton selling shares in WEY ??

Not all small holders are selling out Netcurtains, or even downsizing,
I am topping up as funds allow me, on a monthly basis.
I have faith here in WEY, the same as EME, and have had heartache with both, but have added on lows, and I expect that others have been doing the same, both are expected to become 3 x baggers

If I was WEY I probably would be doing some presentations to institutional investors. It seems sound bet, low price and possible lots of shares available. The small investor tends to be a day trader nowadays.

Everywhere I see institutions are dumping shares in companies is this a sign of market collapse Gold at 6 year high

Company is doing fine but Miton has 13 million more shares to dump given the daily volume this will depress the price for a long time

I know you guys are well in front of me with your knowledge on shares....but what has happened to around 4 million shares that Miton has disposed of during the past few days. They are not shown on the "trades" on ADVFN or on London Stock Exchange site that I have looked on. There is normally only a few thousand or perhaps hundreds of thousands. I remember one day recently when it went over one million. Surly such a large amount would show up somewhere.

indeed the share price has tanked

its one of the reasons I bought some !

;-)

----

& yes the MD did infer +ve news from the cos. co-operation with the Govt.....if it turns into reality & whether anything is material wrt the share price ..we'll have to wait to see
(of course no AIM MD would do the opposite & disperse doom & gloom, or they wldnt keep their job very long !)

(but of course the public education system has to be interested, to ensure that any home schooling is of decent standard & not whacko & phps schooling on assembling kalashnikovs or suppression/discrimination of females !

& to see if cos. like WEY can help the big standardised education system in the education of children that are not fitting in very well into the std. system, be they of type X, Y, Z, T et al
& 1 of WEY sections works in that area)

They also selling out of SSTY hadn't appreciate separate funds so thanks for info Bones. Do we know how much they plan on selling? Or they trying to get fully out of small illiquid stocks? Like the strategy and growth potential here but hopefully price will calm down (RSI bounced from 30 to 80 already) for opportunities to get in further down the line with Miton selling.

No worries smithie, the declaration system is very poor and easily misleading to the casual observer.

Smithie, I went through all the holdings RNS yesterday to get the full picture and I’ve followed WEY a long time. As I said in my last post, the MITON GROUP holdings are in two funds, the Miton UK Microcap and the Miton Smaller Companies Fund. Most of their releases include both holdings which they split out between the two. A couple of times, Miton UK Microcap has issued an RNS covering its own holding but most of them are MITON GROUP which includes both funds.

MITON GROUP started with 20% in 2015 and has only sold down since, it has never added. It is down to 10%+ now (having been diluted also in 2017) and will only keep reducing at its own pace, I think. If you check all of the RNS, you will see this.

The one issued on 21/11/17 showed both funds’ holdings, the one on 22/11/17 was just Miton UK Microcap and that was the same figure as the one split out on the 21/11/17 RNS. The total was 14.51%.

MITON UK MICRO
CAP TRUST PLC 7.58%
--------------------- ---------------- ----------------------- ---------------------
CF MITON UK SMALLER
COMPANIES FUND 6.93%

if 'we' had paid 3.5p in the IPO

I think 90% of us PIs would also be happy to top slice & bag some profit; but not always the right action.

the big winners in Msoft, Next, Sage, Google, Inditex (Zara)....made their big money by holding for many years...& not repeatedly top slicing
