Trouble is that what is arguably WEBs most valuable asset, the California licences, expire a year before there is any realistic prospect of sports betting being approved. You can bet the next renewal is going to cost an awful lot more. I think the company realise this and are clear in their intent to sell sooner rather than later. Problem is that any potential suitor knows this too. Perhaps the traders who sell into the spikes aren't so stupid.
