ashcroft has trumped russo's attempts to brush the plc aside, so russo can now carry on undermining ashcroft or ashcroft can obtain a price for his shares and the of the now delisted plc
at the end of the day, the more ashcroft hates russo the better
from russo's point of view he had calculated a 10 point deduction would make no difference - the FC would still be in the championship next year with or without them and in any case before he starts to buy players he wants ashcroft and the plc dead at his feet
delisting with ascroft holding most of the shares does not represent this
i forsee stalemate and a fall down the league to a point where 10 points means relegation, and the plc surviving the year
any attempt to opt for a deduction when relegation will happen anyway risks further demotions
in any event ascroft has the clout to expose greasy russo and ensure that if he is to be ripped off that a staggered 30 point deduction means Russo face Notts County in the Conference in 2012!!!

Actually, in the 70s too when he bought the club and the club went from the 4th to the 2nd division, and in the 90s when he rebought the club (promotion two consecutive seasons to Premier League, GT back), and in the 00s when he did the fundraising concert in 2005, which coincidently was the year before the promotion to the Premier League in 2006. Quite frankly, to criticise EJ, you are either extremely naive or you should be ashamed.

dilly4, shut up. EJ has done far more for this club than you ever have, whoever you are.

Or will it?

Both parties want to buy the club from the other so this is probably just an attempt to force the issue.

Would you want to bankroll the club when you only own 30%? ( Even if you could afford it! )

He has announced that the loan from his salad company is a mortgage on the full value of Vicarage Road and unless anyone else offers to lend the plc WFC money by Christmas, he will suspend and wind up the listing, essentially giving the club 100% to him. Sell.

Whatever happened to Elton John?

Looks like this could do with a cash injection pronto.

Saw the game on sat and we were v.g in the first half - some of the movement and passing was excellent, we could have been 4-0 up at half time. Second half was average, and we still look dodgy at the back. I think we miss Williamson more than Smith.

The change of nominated advisor and broker on 15th Oct. is because WFC is being delisted soon.
The end of trading in the shares will permit the owners to put more of their own money into the club, and we may go up this year.

Well we won at top of the table Boro then should have lost at bottom of the table Ipswich and stuffed mid table wednesday. Got to love the championship it is so unpredictable.

Judas for the sack if he loses tonight?

Apparently Wycombe get 25%. Good deal for us in terms of finances but I think we are now rather exposed within the squad.

3M for Williamson , basso - any idea what Watford will get from this

Williamson also looks set to go, and whilst we may get seven figures for him, the sell on clause for Wycombe will see a significant amount head in that direction. A lot depends upon on the new striker and then perm one from two of Ellington and Hoskins. Frightening.
I agree FUF, 15th will be a good result.
