28/5/2009 09:38 | I think he was just a one-season wonder - from the reception he had from the Brom fans he didn't leave them with positive impressions either. It happens to some players, a couple of good years followed by losing the plot. I guess he'll be on a good wage and no one will want to pay that for him. Jewell knew him when he was good which is why he took him on I suppose | dr biotech
27/5/2009 22:10 | You would think there might also be some motivation for the player to prove himself as well. | basso2
27/5/2009 18:01 | The old Derby boss was happy to take Elington back, indeed its worth keeping him if a transfer fee would be worth more than wages for a few months.. | fullupfool
25/5/2009 10:38 | Seems odd that he won't even take a proper look at Ellington. Brendan has already admitted he was wrong about Rasiak. I'd rather Ellington had been sold outright but I don't see the harm in giving him pre-season as a make or break chance. It couldn't damage his value any further! Who knows, score a few goals and we might get a bit of money back for him. | pjb_1972
20/5/2009 07:52 | Look like Ellington isnt wanted... | fullupfool
20/5/2009 06:20 | A: 17th B: 12th | sicilian_kan
29/4/2009 22:16 | I think a lot will depend on whether Brendan manages to keep Smith, Priskin and to an extent Rasiak, (and avoids having to resell Ellington to raise cash). A raid for a few premier league team youngsters on loan, and a couple more value signings would leave me feeling v. confident. At Christmas my prediction is 6th, and we will progress to finish 4th | basso2
29/4/2009 12:22 | A 12th B 10th Mid table obscurity with a brief flirtation with the playoffs. | dr biotech
28/4/2009 22:17 | Lets have a sweepstake for next season finishing place :- A. On Christmas day B. End Of Season I go for A. 5th B. 8th | fullupfool
28/4/2009 06:55 | Going to be a great atmosphere on Sunday.....safe at last and a game we should be able to finish the season with a win!! | alexacj
27/4/2009 10:24 | Lets hope that its not so close next season. Top half would be a realistic place to aim for. Would have been safe with 52pts but great to get the win. | dr biotech
26/4/2009 00:40 | Good fight back today, shows character to do that. Fortunately my prediction was wrong - No Relegation | fullupfool
25/4/2009 16:07 | This share listing is holding up funding, sell on any sudden drop below this level,it WILL mean delisting like Sheff Utd | mryesyes
22/4/2009 08:26 | Actually I feel sorry for L*t*n. Had they been relegated in a regular season it would be funny, but they have been shafted by the FA. Funny how WHU can get away with it but smaller clubs get shafted. Still better them than us. | dr biotech
22/4/2009 00:16 | Another year in the Championship.. Do I feel for Luton .... NAH !!!!! | fullupfool
09/4/2009 12:51 | I have 1 or 2 Wells Fargo shares. Nice. ;o) | liarspoker
09/4/2009 12:45 | brace for take off | spob
03/4/2009 02:58 | Just let WFC go the way of SOO so the owners can invest without lining WFC holders | mryesyes
19/3/2009 14:57 | Been unlucky with decisions this year - a Phantom Goal, Penalty last week in 7th minute of Injury time that wasnt a penalty. Didnt see last nights penalty but seemed to be past normal injury time when it was awarded - anyone see it ? | fullupfool
10/3/2009 08:28 | Eustace looked like a class signing last year but has been awful this year - against Bristol City I'd have subbed himafter 20mins. Saying that I'd have subbed the lot of them in that game. Beat Forest tonight and we have one foot in midtable obscurity. | dr biotech
10/3/2009 01:11 | I feel soo optomistic now.. Forgot about Eustace - he has gone out on loan.. last one of Boothys recruits | fullupfool
09/3/2009 14:39 | Over the last 6 games we are currently 2nd only to Derby | dr biotech
09/3/2009 14:04 | hope so, next fixtures for the season are mostly bottom half of table.. Should be safe in a few weeks Heres looking to being at vicarage rd this sat ... | fullupfool
08/3/2009 18:31 | Think we have turned the corner. Certainly not out of trouble yet but we continue to score and the defence is somewhat better. 52pts should be enough. | dr biotech
02/3/2009 10:39 | Good point mr, would require a majority holding to do it. Probably quite cheap at this price but I think its housing price mentality - will be cheaper still in six months.. | fullupfool |
