09/2/2021 16:54 | My family owns the company too, more than both wameja's BoDs together. I doubt you have that much | tomv33
09/2/2021 16:48 | LOL ! 🤣 Well go ahead and inform the BoD that the consensus is 20p and therefore they must hold out for this price or else seek employment elsewhere. I look forward to you posting their response here. | masurenguy
09/2/2021 16:35 | I, amongst others, own the company. | largeronald
09/2/2021 16:29 | I see, which BoD are you on - WJA or MC ? | masurenguy
09/2/2021 16:22 | And I'm one of those. | largeronald
09/2/2021 16:17 | No - only the people involved on either side of the deal count ! | masurenguy
09/2/2021 15:42 | Does FinnCap's opinion count? | largeronald
09/2/2021 14:52 | Whose concensus ? The BoD has agreed 8p with MC - some poster views here don't count! | masurenguy
09/2/2021 14:18 | Consensus seemed to be that 20p was a fair price... | largeronald
09/2/2021 12:37 | What's a sensible price though? Homesend SCRL is losing 10 million a year, and will probably require further injections of cash to keep going. If Wameja was to continue to go it alone, it's going to have to raise a lot more money from shareholders. It's probably going to take years for this thing to register a profit with the way volume is growing. | tabhair
09/2/2021 12:06 | Aren't the people who called for this to be sold at 8p out now anyway? Should be quite feasible that the shareholders defeat this at the meeting and get a sensible price out of MasterCard for their shares. | largeronald
09/2/2021 11:56 | So we started at this wrapping up in December, it then got pushed to January, then March, now May. These delays stink for the ordinary shareholders, but are wonderful for the directors who will get to collect salaries while this very simple audit takes months to complete. The cynic in me says the delay is being deliberately drawn out so some sort of financial condition is triggered by management in order for them to collect one last pay cheque. | tabhair
08/2/2021 17:29 | The Directors should be pushing MC to update their offer to include the latest 6 months as well, even if it is a extra 1p say. | johnv
08/2/2021 17:12 | By the sounds of it there is a claim that "will be resolved" but not a "material" claim, hence the time taken to resolve it. In theory, the longer it goes on, the larger the value of Homesend should be. Unfortunately, as we all know, the value of Homesend has all ready be set in stone based on the 'independent' valuation done 6 months ago. Why do I feel we are going to get shafted here! | daveme
08/2/2021 16:52 | 30th Apr is last trading day | johnv
08/2/2021 15:58 | on the timetable for the last rns firiday justgone was supposedto be thelast trading day?have igot it wrong? | ali47fish
05/2/2021 07:54 | Richard Griffiths had bought 8% of WJA, presumably to make a quick turn. Not now. ..... | graham1ty
05/2/2021 07:44 | I thought from an earlier RNS that Mastercard had taken over dealing with this indemnity claim ? Bring a bit of financial clout to bear ? Do WJA still have the people to run with this ? I thought the office was almost empty, as WJA is really just a holding company. It will be eight months from announcement to completion, and a bit humiliating for Mastercard ? | graham1ty
05/2/2021 06:05 | Sadly yess The audit of the third party intellectual property embedded in the Paymobile plarm utilised by BTC, as announced on 3 December 2020, is progressing and Wameja is managing the audit. Wameja maintains its view that the potential for a legitimate material claim under the indemnity in the SPA is very low. The Wameja board remains optimistic that the Potential Indemnity Claims will be resolved. Scheme of Arrangement Both Wameja and Mastercard remain committed to the Scheme and have agreed to extend the term of the SIA to accommodate a revision to the indicative transaction timetable for the Scheme that is set out in the announcement of 3 December 2020. The indicative timetable is now: First Court Date: Dispatch of Scheme Booklet (inc.IER) Scheme Meeting: Second Court Date: Effective Date (last day of trading): Record Date: 18 March 2021 24 March 2021 23 April 2021 29 April 2021 30 April 2021 4 May 2021 | alphafund
05/2/2021 03:45 | The date has moved out again :-(hTTps://www2.asx. | fft
05/2/2021 01:48 | hxxps://onlineregist I think it should be listed here? Please correct me if wrong. But can't find anything under Wameja or Burst Acquisition Co (MC company) | alphafund
04/2/2021 07:40 | Well, the Court should have sat in Australia some hours ago. But no RNS...... We are none the wiser | graham1ty
03/2/2021 07:18 | Good KPI updates today. Especially the increase in the receiving bank account being on the homesend up from 59 to 62%. End to end control of the txn will be higher margin. The longer this drags out, the more homesend should be worth. Or, at least no reduction from the original offer. | fft
01/2/2021 13:03 | Tom, the Court date is 4th, despatch of booklet 10th. This from last RNS “The indicative timetable is now: First Court Date: 4 February 2021 Dispatch of Scheme Booklet (inc.IER) 10 February 2021” | graham1ty |
