01/4/2020 10:37 | The 30% spike the other week didn't last long, things will get worse before they get better. Manufacturing data came out this morning and painted a gloomy picture. | debsdowner
31/3/2020 15:53 | The next news will highlight the increased borrowings and no sales of any consequence. The decorating season is underway which starts in Spring, when the sun shines it shows the dirt and drab rooms. Unfortunately most won't be decorating and having tradesmen in their homes or offices risking cross infection from coronavirus. | debsdowner
30/3/2020 17:39 | Is it top up time for Daisy again. WGB, the gift that keeps on giving....... To Daisy at any rate. | owenski
30/3/2020 17:05 | trt - don't know where you get your info from but it's wrong. WGB stopped selling anything other than samples and a small amount of paint online months ago. checkout their website at www.stylelibrary.com | bikeman1
25/3/2020 16:08 | I,m out this morning .Fast moving here . Felt better movers elsewhere .Will return with the profits to put back in here Al | s34icknote
25/3/2020 09:21 | I assume you sold all your shares ? | hotfinance14
25/3/2020 09:21 | The company not even launching "Spring Collections", there is no point when there is no demand! | debsdowner
25/3/2020 09:19 | I did warn WGB would be hit and the closure of the factories was predictable. The company is now in a net debt position which was also predictable. Tradesmen aren't going into peoples homes spreading the virus which has hit trade. The last thing on peoples mind is decorating in a world financial crisis. Foolish buyers were warned. | debsdowner
25/3/2020 08:27 | Daisy will be topping up. | hotfinance14
25/3/2020 08:01 | RNS "Trading in the current financial year started well and was in line with the Board's expectations but Covid-19, and government measures in our key markets to prevent the spread of the virus, is now impacting our trading outlook. It is difficult for us to quantify the likely impact of Covid-19 at this stage. The Company is, therefore, withdrawing financial guidance until visibility on the impact of Covid-19 improves. Owing to the uncertainty caused by Covid-19, we have been focusing on contingency planning and cost reduction to preserve cash in the business." Spring collection launch postponed No final dividend. Reality bites | alter ego
24/3/2020 16:00 | I agree hugely undervalued as the market reaction today implies. | trt
24/3/2020 14:42 | Managed to get 20000 shares .Long term hold till this time next year ! Looks well undervalued to me Sicknote | s34icknote
24/3/2020 12:17 | trt, your unbounded optimism is other-worldly. What else did the press report today that will also have a bearing on WGB's prospects? | alter ego
24/3/2020 09:54 | Paint sales have risen 13% in the last week as people have to stay home. Decorating is now the in thing. Online wallpaper sales have also risen. Press reports today. | trt
23/3/2020 20:51 | All non essential shops to close and no more than two people allowed in a group. The police can fine people not complying with a minimum of £30 and up to £1,000 All clothes shops to close and if people can buy online they must do so. Churches and mosques to close immediately. | debsdowner
23/3/2020 19:03 | Well it hasn't done and the more and more stores close and the more and more isolation and the less sales of the company products. Contractors told to stay at home, no one wants a tradesman in their property when they may be infected with coronavirus. I did warn Friday the share price would probably fall today. | debsdowner
20/3/2020 21:47 | Will go higher on Monday clearly oversold. | trt
20/3/2020 19:17 | hot The wages bill wont make a difference to WGB as they need sales they aren't closing the factory!!! They are not in the pubs, cafeteria, leisure sector. Very few stocks go down in a straight line and usually bounce at some stage but nothing material has changed in that the company has already warned on profits and doesn't need to say much more. Remove the 10% spread and the average rise more like 20%-25%. Still not a bad rise but a profit isn't a profit until banked and the share price could be marked down before market opens Monday morning. | debsdowner
20/3/2020 13:33 | Daisy..I have been away for 3 weeks.What happened ? | hotfinance14
20/3/2020 13:21 | Once chancellor makes his statement on paying everyone's wages this will jump by over 60% | trt
20/3/2020 13:09 | Hope you guys topped up at the bottom - nice 30% today. | trt
19/3/2020 16:54 | Market cap £19 million, suggests to me they are heading for extreme difficulty. | debsdowner
18/3/2020 12:58 | What about all the little Gnomes ). | essentialinvestor
18/3/2020 12:08 | Longer term I reckon these will be ok. I have no position, but they are back on my watch lost. Lady Gnome loves the products, as do I - we have enough of them. Once the 12 week isolation period is over, assuming all gets back to normal, there will be a backlog of demand to kickstart things. The customers are wealthy people who will always have money. | lord gnome |
