30/6/2020 07:37 | Spot on our haven - not bad results in the circumstances - I think a market cap for this co of 26 million with its valuable asset backing is just too low | salver2
30/6/2020 07:29 | Well now we know that they are not in dire straits now and as you said, they were not before the results were known. Under the circumstances IMO market will be reassured and I expect no fireworks either way. | our haven
30/6/2020 01:23 | They were not in dire straights Mr Epic | salver2
30/6/2020 01:22 | Well know later today | salver2
29/6/2020 20:36 | No they weren't. | arthur_lame_stocks
29/6/2020 20:05 | They can expand the collection as much as they want but luxury wallcovering require decorators to hang the paper and householders will be reluctant to engage decorators for a while yet and that is what the marker thinks looking at the share price. | debsdowner
29/6/2020 14:50 | William Morris at the V&A | netcurtains
29/6/2020 07:57 | Further expansion of the William Morris brand announced in last weeks RNS Walker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group, is pleased to announce that its Morris & Co brand is collaborating with the sought-after interior designer, architect and William Morris enthusiast Ben Pentreath. The collaboration has produced an innovative collection of wallpapers and fabrics, which reinvent William Morris's original designs in completely new and bold colourways whilst remaining faithful to Morris & Co's traditional production methods. | netcurtains
28/6/2020 17:56 | salver2: Sunday times (property pages) said today "record number of people improving their homes" (sources checkatrade etc) .... This is the WGB market. | netcurtains
27/6/2020 12:18 | I bought 81 k shares at about 30 k yesterday and I bought them easily - someone sold over a million.maybe he knows something we don’t - maybe I’m the idiot buying when everyone else is selling .For my pennysworth I don’t really see this company as worth less than half - it’s already low price from 5 months ago - it has furloughed most of their staff and lopped the extra 20 percent off so I don’t think their cash burn will be too bad- it’s tradingat less than half it’s assets I think long term it will be ok - but we will see the damage or maybe lack of next week!I personally am optimistic - I suppose I would say that ! | salver2
27/6/2020 11:28 | Yes I can see this is going to be a dire year but going back over past 5 or 6 years profits I think this share is a winner. I'll probably bung in some more once the worst is known.... I'm a great believer in the "Arts and Craft Movement" - then and now and in times to come. | netcurtains
27/6/2020 11:23 | You have a seller back net !Dumping at 36 and 35p.God long term company Sicknote | s34icknote
26/6/2020 14:27 | Anyone know why this has dipped down while the market generally is going up and shops (including John Lewis) have all opened up? Market Cap is now just four times a "normal years" annual profit - so the potential for this share to recover is enormous the share price is currently trading at only half this companies net assets. | netcurtains
22/6/2020 11:01 | John Lewis is now open - a big outlet for Greenbanks products. We're back! | netcurtains
18/6/2020 10:46 | We agree. I am just a bit worried about the "precarious pangolins" though ! | gfrae
18/6/2020 10:22 | gfrae: I thknk you're right... This is the situation. MILLIONS of middle class office workers will be working from home for quite some time (here and in USA /EU) . They cant spend their money so much in: restaurants, pubs, foreign holidays.... This really leaves SHOPPING. With a lot more time (working from home) and more money to spend on DIY it makes sense the middle class wallpapers, curtains materials, paints, will have a bit of a mini boom. | netcurtains
18/6/2020 10:17 | From our own brands, we are particularly excited by the forthcoming launch of Zoffany's Palladio wallpaper collection, an archive-derived reinvention of critically acclaimed wallpapers from the 1950s along with a completely new design, Precarious Pangolins, by Sam Wilde." I wonder how that will go down ? In general though I can see why some people will want to celebrate the end of lockdown by spending money on nice clean, bright, cheerfu | gfrae
17/6/2020 16:16 | Up we go again !! | trt
15/6/2020 14:03 | The problem is that we need JOHN LEWIS and BREWERS to be fully open before we can fully recover... However if I buy when the recovery has already started that might already be too late. I think this is a reasonably good entry point. This is key bit of news - NOTE TO SELF LOOK AT VOLUME MOVEMENTS AROUND THAT DAY: Conference call for analysts at 10am on 30 June 2020, | netcurtains
15/6/2020 10:07 | Come on guys its got cute dog pictures on curtains - whats not to like: | netcurtains
15/6/2020 09:57 | Blimy does it also give a 7% dividend as well..... Amazing... Seems to have quite a few buyers too.. | netcurtains
15/6/2020 09:52 | topnotch: are you in because you like the NAV? The profits? or because you admire William Morris as an artist and a founder of the arts and craft movement? | netcurtains |
