02/6/2014 22:52 | Hi TP, lets hope you are right as a fair few of us have put a lot of money in to Viy over the last few years and deserve something back at last! | mhw28865
02/6/2014 21:39 | tp, you seem awfully sure of yourself, history suggests you know sweet f.a, so, please, hop off that horse will you. Thanking you. | busyderek
02/6/2014 20:14 | Spec7 Not limited to AIM re share price reactions. Re MW, he has postulated, he hasn't said for definite, he is careful what he says, and I for one am grateful for his journalistic skills. Anyway, could be busy on here next week....or on the new thread ;-) | the prophet
02/6/2014 20:11 | sunsetwarrior Each to their own, but I think you will see, next week, that I was right. But we all have to make our own decisions. Thanks for the hopes etc for this one and good luck to you elsewhere with your investing. | the prophet
02/6/2014 19:54 | "How does MW get to know before anyone else?" Well if he didn't there would be a level playing field ..God forbid :-) this is after all the AIM. did you ever see any price sensitive RNS where the share price didn't react before its release :-) | spec7
02/6/2014 19:50 | I read your posts regularly and respect what you have to say. However I do think that you have rose tinted glasses on as far as VIY are concerned. Read your own post back. Everything that you stated are big ifs and maybe's. That's all this company has ever given which is as I said is very similar to meldex. I genuinely hope it all works great for you and you make a fortune but I don't trust this company any more and I'm writing off my holding. Even if it 10 bags I'm still sitting on a huge loss. I'd rather invest elsewhere. | sunsetwarrior
02/6/2014 19:21 | At least there's some proposed action. How does MW get to know before anyone else? I wonder what flavour jam will be on offer.............. | ewads
02/6/2014 18:05 | Intriguing The Prophet, I guess I can wait another few days! GL | jimb2
02/6/2014 17:44 | sunsetwarrior You may want to revise that opinion next week! Seeing as ,at this point, you don't know what the rto company is or does, don't know the make up of the new board, no nothing of the background, prospects, technology of the new company, then that is some stance to take! I shall say no more, but I'm am looking forwards to next week in a very big way! | the prophet
02/6/2014 14:29 | There are too many similarities between VIY and Meldex. I won't be putting any more money into this very shady lot. They are coming back to shareholders for more money. You'd have to have your heads tested. imo. | sunsetwarrior
02/6/2014 14:19 | new company, new board, new name....will have to start new thread! | the prophet
02/6/2014 14:03 | A mention from MW. New co looking like being announced towards end of next week. I'll not say more as a subscription site. | twix386
29/5/2014 15:52 | I'm not surprised (as an ex-investor who sold at a loss when shares were pennies not tenths of pennies) that some investors wish to hold the old BOD to account and it seems an unjust world that they are living on shareholder funds as i write this (their past salries etc) - their 'spin' was spin of the most despicable kind, unethical IMHO if not actually illegal - but I am surprised by those who think that SG had a product worth something commercially and still do; I called it 'digital snake oil' some considerable time ago and the decade long failure to have it commercially adopted rather reinforces my view. But good luck to investors who hope that the company 'shell' can be applied to something more profitable going forward. | jsbach123
28/5/2014 21:18 | Thought you had me on filter. I'm not F11 and I sold not because I took 'YOUR VIEW' but because I was damn well sick of reading 'YOUR VIEW' day in day out up to 10 posts a day. If you don't like letting the old BOD getting off with it scot free after taking some huge salaries, why not try doing something about it rather than whinge on this BB, I'm sure alot of shareholders will be behind you, but you won't will you, you'll just carry on here whingeing day in day out as you do! Now who's the numbnut! Perhaps I should start calling you tw@386 if you are going to start childish name calling! | lorn4
28/5/2014 19:22 | Christ! I spotted early that the old BOD were not transparent and were liable to tell porkys or at least hide things repeatedly. Indeed, I said it for years and by many examples as they arose. It turned out to be the case as BP and hiding the financials at the GM once again supported and i'd like answers, as we completely failed! I don't short. I have traded (buy, sell, buy and repeat) in a manner dependent on circumstances at the time and my circumstances. Porn4 is put out, yet anyone who took my view as supportable would have saved a lot - if only I took my own advice is the real question and I have answered that to F11 before. The worst of all are those who tell me what I did and why and subscribe motives like Porn4 and F11. These types are imho the very worst of all numbnuts who don't know. Neither do I like letting the old BOD off scot free after taking huge salaries, tie-in and options when all the endless "talk" ended without any explanation of what happened to Chevron, China, CGG etc etc and was shown to be overplayed and lacking material strength. The Prophet has an opinion I respect. He wants to look forward and hope for better with AR and I have to accept we will never get answers to such a complete mismatch and failure. Let's play, I think posters should be aware that Lorn4 is really F11. Too embarassed to return under one old banner so adopts another. | twix386
28/5/2014 18:45 | My point is constantly moaning about a company that you supposedly hold shares in and continue to hold even averaging down as the shareprice drops. I was a shareholder here and I was getting extremely frustrated, exasperated and angry by the constant and continual rambling on, it came across as deramping to me. Deramping and shorting, then accumulating more shares in the background, to the detriment of genuine investors. It is suspended now so why keep raking up the past and still arguing with other shareholders, alot of people lost money here! I hope that AR can turn this around and that the genuine investors can re-coup some of their losses, although there is one investor here, I believe deserves all he gets!!!! And Twixs posts started well before Mar 13. | lorn4
28/5/2014 15:30 | OK lets look at the charts. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com a remarkably steady decline over 2 years. Twix posts were 17/3/13 almost bang in the middle of the 2 year remarkably steady decline. So what's your point ? | spec7
28/5/2014 15:15 | Look at date and chart then | lorn4
28/5/2014 15:00 | I dont see the link between one persons comments on a free BB and the abject failure of a company and its product ? The market here is not in the Doldrums ! its bloody shut :-)and if Twix can make money on a suspended share he's a better man than me....lol | spec7
28/5/2014 14:33 | yer, whatever Porn4 glad my posts helped you sell early otherwise not interested in hearing your opinion either. I don't short. Lorn4 28 May'14 - 13:27 - 10848 of 10849 0 0 (Filtered) | twix386
28/5/2014 13:27 | Still going on. Exasperating reading your posts, possibly why I sold ages ago, although I did think you were talking the shareprice down as you were possibly making money shorting the stock in the backgraound. | lorn4
28/5/2014 13:05 | Yup, a failure rate well in excess of success is the norm and I am sure they did all they could in the search for success. I don't even address the numerous application target failures and certain commercial ineptitude in the answers sought, though we had more than our share for longer than woiuld have been hoped. I prefer my failure without all the hiding of information over the years and the obvious gameplans. It was misleading and wrong in any single instance of at least a handful of examples and employed as a general ethos running through their actions, as I used to highlight. We never had a true picture to judge and the difference with AR brings this home as much as the truth coming out when the old BOD weren't around or became unable to control the message (TW) and hide all the information. Their gameplay rule book no longer functioned adequately. aimho Propeth, respect your view as always. I think we have come to understand that we have a different view on this and vive la difference ;-) | twix386
28/5/2014 12:28 | I think the old bod did their best to make it work, it didn't happen for whatever reason(s), other observers like MW take the same sort of view. You take a different one, thats fine, but, for me, I accept that not all these tech co's will pan out as expected. | the prophet |
