I have emailed the company and received a reply from Adam Reynolds stating he did attend the event and did meet with a number of shareholders and interested parties.

Throughout the day he did have a number of meetings away from the stand and also attended a seminar, and so obviously there would have been occasions when the stand was unattended. Also the event organisers were unable to issue Adam with the Vialogy name badge due to technical issues and so unless you knew what he looked like you may well have missed him.

This was intended to be a low key affair and to keep costs to a minimum no one from the US was invited.

Lets hope the meetings were productive!

i have actually seen a picture. The entire board were sitting on the table as well as Bond and Dean and Sandeep...the table had no legs just a small investor at each end holding it up.....

maybe/maybe not, but having a stand at the show surely means they should have someone on it never the less. If being left empty, it would have been better to remove the Vialogy name and/or withdraw from the (no)show.

Anyway, another in a long line of 'expected better' and for them to make use of the function and attend the stand, no matter any change of situation since booking. Perhaps we will find out what benefit we accrued and what was done there or not, one day.
Reading seekerofprofit's impression, you can't help but think that however and whenever it was planned, it went awry when investors and shareholders looking to engage and interact found the stand empty for what sounds like most if not all of the show!
That alone and the impression it leaves is poor enough, irrespective of any other factors imho. At the very least there should have been a note or sign advising if nobody was in attendance at the Stand, or times they would be. Simple courtesy and common sense.

Seems to me we either.....
Didn't attend at all, as of no value in present situation.
Attended to give a presentation only.
Attended to give a presentation and spend some ad-hoc time at the stand.
Any scenario leaves seekerofprofit's experience demonstrating complete incompetence to adequately manage the situation and inform attendees imv.

Maybe their place was booked pre the break up. It did seem odd that they would be there now given the total lack of direction on any fronts here.

with a weary heart, wouldn't you say it sounds fairly typical Jimb2.

Here's what seekerofprofit posted regarding wanting to see someone at our stand.

"Having visited the VIY stand umpteen times during the day all I encountered there was an empty table. For an hour and a half I was talking to the execs on 3 of the adjacent stands, and all during that time not one exec for VIY showed up"

Christ, a day's show turns out to be a no-show at the stand!
Now there's another cost we could have saved as well as no RNS! lol

Seekerofprofit on LSE reports of any empty table on the VIY stand, altough he reports there was a mini presentation in one of the studios, he didn't get to attend, hopefully someone else will have.

I wish I had attended now, I'm sure I could have got the table away.

well to be honest it's not clear whether the investor event is for Vialogy/Vec or Vialogy/new company rto.

Is it possible that AR is looking for investment to develop the mineral assets as is a requirement of the restructuring?

agree Spec, can't see the point in issuing a RNSNON for an investor show, complete waste of time and money.(issuing the rnsnon, not attending the show, just to be clear!)

TBH jim an RNS cost money and i am happy to see them saving it. That last placing will not last forever.

Re uk investor show, I would guess the message is unchanged, namely two bites of the cherry, VEC and whatever AR can bring to the table. Given AR's track record, that's a decent proposition.I'm also encouraged by the willingness to attend these sort of shows, not afraid to meet investors and indicates we are adopting a more pro-active stance.Expecting news to be manufactured for this event was always a bit daft, imo.

A business model like Nostra Terra is what I think the board had in mind before. If QRD has been successful for small (Atascosa) to large (Chevron, Gente, ONGC), it is certainly worth exploring. I really don't think VEC or VIY using QRD should be written off just yet.......
