Surely a reverse takeover will require shareholders' approval and they will only vote for it if there is some clear upside in it for them? Hence the 'inspired' buying this morning. The suspension is therefore to be welcomed to prevent the day traders making a quick killing.

This has been the expectation for months since the VEC split plan was announced.

VIY as a shell with a little cash needs some input and this was always going to mean dilution
The only question has been - what and how much dilution

It also of course remains to be seen what the share in VEC will be worth to VIY, but that'll likely take years...

very amusing Arf, but I fail to see what your point is, let alone repeat the post five minutes later.

Vialogy has effectively become a cash shell, there will be a proposal for a rto. That will involve raising cash, issuing shares, name change etc etc, imo.It will be a new beast and investors can decide whether they like it or not.imo, VIY shareholders should and will welcome the chance to salvage something as VIY didn't work out as we would have liked. That happens sometimes in investing. What will appear here will in effect be a new listed company,I'm certainly very interested to see what is on offer and your puerile comments seem pretty pointless and misplaced. Still, each to their own and it clearly amuses you.

indeed jammy and thanks

Now here to recoup where once a profit seemed inevitable, but alas it didn't go our way time and again and the truth couldn't be hidden when the funds run out.

SG got all he wanted for VEC and still looks unable to deliver unless AR can shake something out from the boot-straps. I know of no other way to describe absolute failure over an eternity and it plainly leaves me sitting on the fence re the old BOD. lol

alimo,

because his dad lost a fortune on Vialogy and he has a chance to remedy that and for us too and because he has the chance to shape a completely new business with enticing tax advantages of a cash shell. It must be an entrepreneur's dream.

60ken,

you are just one of the crowd in that obvious and foretold call.

Am I the only person to think that an announcement may come in future changing the whole direction of VIY investment?

So what does AR know about VIY/QRI that we don't? I'd say everything really, cos why would he have time to be bothered about us and get some pals to come aboard as well.
VIY was recently only analysing oil/gas seismic data. If same can be done to develop gold deposits then just maybe Orogen Gold plc (ORE.L) would have a use to pin-point gold bearing rocks for their two 2014 projects.
Not much use this guessing.

not wishing to be a Marvin, but really for many of us 0.5p = whoppie!!!

A million miles away from b/e!

That's why this is still seen as the disaster it has been for many even at the mooted target price. There's no other conclusion!

All we can say is it could have been so much worse without a second bite and on balance I remain glad we voted YES. To think some were tempted to hold up for better terms in VEC and risk all for an apparent non-runner that's currently prudently written off by many now moving all hope to the Vialogy AR proposition.

What odds of any members of ther old BOD keeing their jobs ??

[imo] Going by their school reports (i.e. - The VIY share price) should be very long odds -

this is the expected reversal of a business into VIY. Yes there will may be a fundraising but you will be getting an asset with revenue at last. Oh and remember those management options don't kick in till 0.5p, so where do you think the BOD are looking towards?

VIY had no business left after the VEC transfer, so some form of reverse acquisition makes sense - or more sense than nothing

Suspended ? As i said a leak

The Company notes the recent rise in its share price. The Company confirms that it is in discussions in relation to a possible transaction which, if completed, would constitute a reverse transaction pursuant to the AIM Rules. Consequently, the Company has requested that its shares are temporarily suspended with immediate effect, pending a further announcement.
