Festario, I also think close to 0.4p is the likely shortly coming Placing price.

PW. "The fact there are so many down votes on deramps indicate real investors have taken confidence in the corporate update."To me the sudden significant increase in downvotes of non-bullish posts so immediately after a nothing RNS clearly indicates that those who are trying to influence the Chat thread, such as yourself, are attempting to do so with their paid accounts. Your record shows you are not a real or investor, but it could also show you are a serious manipulator whose views prospective investors may wish to steer well clear of.

Stupid. If the company wants to 'wipe out' its shareholders it has to get their permission first, and that doesn't require an EGM. Even if these people could call an EGM, what would they do with it? There are no big shareholdings declared, so they'd have to herd a diffuse clowder of cats to achieve anything at all. Won't happen, but it would give Leigh a good laugh, so I suppose it's an ill wind...

BTW it's 5% for an EGM not 10%.

20 years is the time it takes from discovery of a new material to its commercial application. So graphene is bang on time. This is why so much is happening now.

20 YEARS

That's how long since graphene was created.
Quite a few articles doing the rounds, summarising progress in its ongoing development and uptake.

1retirement - "Where is the line between "just and idea" and idiotic thought?"

The line is the share register. If the company is to be believed on 05/08/2024 a couple took a 10% holding in the company. When individuals have a holding sufficient to call an EGM a company has to be careful and consult them before wiping them out with a placing. If a request is made for a EGM Versarien would have to foot the bill.

This is why I think there may be more support for the next placing than just shafting PIs.

I can't believe the placees are getting this stock away.Big amounts being sold to the MMs at 0.056p It will be worth considerably less in a very short time. Criminal trading by those inside.

grabster - As nanomaterials begin to gain traction in all spheres of human life the European Union are running a project to ensure its safety on the brain. Versarien are part of the project if you scroll down in the link below. The CEO attended an icareproject conference in Braga two weeks ago.

This is why its impossible to overemphasise the importance of having a world leading graphene/nanomaterial scientist at the helm of Versarien at this juncture in time. There is just too much happening in the use of graphene at the moment for the company to have an off-the-shelf AIM spivvy CEO as repeatedly suggested by 1manchild.

"IT'S NOT BRAIN SURGERY."
(OH YES IT IS!)

I knew of this a few days ago, but wasn't aware that the surgery took place in Manchester, UK. Nine other patients are lined up for similar procedures.

(Not VRS related - other than, as mentioned in today's VRS announcement, Versarien are involved in assessing acceptable levels of contact between brain tissue and graphene. And Neill Ricketts in the past has referred to graphene having a role in cancer treatments.)

Here is another report of the same story

and another:

This is a world first, and will make headlines globally in medical journals over the coming weeks.

"real investors" & VRS in the same sentence does not compute.

This has always been AT THE VERY BEST a share promotion scheme.

Real investors spotted that a mile off & steered well clear.

zydecoco - "Of course to downvote you need a paid for account."

That's right and if you can't afford a paid account what are you doing investing in something as risky as AIM shares. The fact there are so many down votes on deramps indicate real investors have taken confidence in the corporate update.

Very interesting that the number of downvotes on non-bullish posts has radically increased today. Of course to downvote you need a paid for account.Yet another high correlator of a rapidly incoming Placing.

PW,

The market cap of VRS is about £1M. If BB thought there was anything doing here they could buy VRS for twice the market cap out of their petty cash box & not even notice.

There's nothing going on here, just a pre-placing ramp by idiots & company shills like you trying to ensnare gullible gerbils.

Yes there will be another placing but it may contain details of a strategic interest.

RNS 04/10/2024 - "..the Company announced on 1 October 2024 that it had entered into a 12 month commercially funded project with Balfour Beatty, one of the UK's largest construction companies, to develop graphene enhanced 3DCP materials and products."

Now what if Balfour Beaty if instead of putting cash on the table for the project participated in the next placing. Just an idea.
