30/9/2024 16:58 | Excellent use of sententious. | zydecoco
30/9/2024 16:56 | AIM Regulatory fees seem to cost circa GBP 100k per year. How long do you think they have left before delisting? | zydecoco
30/9/2024 16:23 | Suspension and delisting, because they can't afford the regulatory fees, and because the ONLY purpose of being listed is to raise money. Surely they've exhausted all those borrowings now. | festario
30/9/2024 15:36 | Also, am I right to think you see that as being an Involuntary Delisting? | zydecoco
30/9/2024 15:32 | I see. Any view on a timeframe for that? | zydecoco
30/9/2024 14:28 | Total Carbide as of 30/09/23 was in a far better shape than AAC. The losses are the same £144k but Total Carbide assets were £3.9 million as opposed to £411,142 for AAC. The accounts are on Companies House website. | pwhite73
30/9/2024 14:06 | ".. The subject of AAC is now as its been sold and we move onto the company's commercial ventures, graphene and 3D Printing..." Hold yer horses; VRS still has an unsold subsidiary awaiting sale - Total Carbide. I wonder what that'll fetch? And when? VRS paid £2.3m to buy it 11 years ago. | grabster
30/9/2024 13:49 | grapster - "Harper Bennett (formed 1yr 11m ago) is basically Paul Bennett" It doesn't mean anything. New companies are registered with Companies House for much larger companies to be reversed into when the time is right. RNS 30/09/24 - "Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, announces that, in line with the Company's stated strategy, it has completed a binding agreement for the sale of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, AAC Cyroma Limited ("AAC Cyroma"), to Harper Bennett Limited for a total consideration of £550,000, subject to any adjustments arising from completion accounts." For it to be binding solicitors would have been involved. Furthermore neither AAC or VRS would not be able to shirk its PAYE and NI responsibilities to HMRC by selling AAC to a non-existent enterprise. The subject of AAC is now closed as its been sold and we move onto the company's commercial ventures, graphene and 3D Printing. | pwhite73
30/9/2024 13:37 | No, de listing | festario
30/9/2024 13:32 | So you reckon Administration is next? | zydecoco
30/9/2024 13:02 | I don't see how they can ever get another placing away, who would risk it? | festario
30/9/2024 12:24 | What will the next Placing be at? In the 0.4Xp area I reckon. | zydecoco
30/9/2024 12:11 | Harper Bennett (formed 1yr 11m ago) is basically Paul Bennett Once AAC Cyroma is gone, it's of no great interest what Harper Bennett does with it. But is Harper Bennett in a position to complete the purchase? It all looks a bit fragile. Versarien once boasted global names as collaborators .. The Google Streetview image of Paul Bennett's side-street semi doesn't show a yellow three-wheeler; maybe he is discretely well-connected and can process this deal with ease. | grabster
30/9/2024 11:42 | From the Bulls & Bears thread, just now: charo 30 Sep '24 - 11:52 - 19441 of 19443 0 3 0 THE BUYER OF AAC IS A COMPANY WITH ASSETS OF £102 YES ONE HUNDRED AND TWO POUNDS.LOL. | bbmsionlypostafter mk2
30/9/2024 11:22 | Yes Kemche, those types on here and IOF would rather ignore the sad truth | festario
30/9/2024 11:09 | What's the bet they never get paid and then the buyer goes into administration. At least they got the shares away! I wonder if they'll ever get paid the balance of their Korea sale? Another flavour of news flow just to get a placing away? | smokeyjohnson
30/9/2024 10:52 | THE BUYER OF AAC IS A COMPANY WITH ASSETS OF £102 YES ONE HUNDRED AND TWO POUNDS.LOL. | charo
30/9/2024 10:42 | Natch the morons have got terribly excited and shares in Versarien (VRS) are up by 14% on news that it has sold the non core plastics business AAC Cyroma for £550,000 subject to any completion adjustments. Well, that is the headline number... | bbmsionlypostafter mk2
30/9/2024 10:37 | "In our core business the pipeline of opportunities and partnerships continues to improve and I believe that Versarien is increasingly well positioned for sustained growth and industry leadership." Well the belief is still there, thank god. | kemche |
