NR knew from the start about the outcome of the share price at that time, selling loads and banking millions.
He knew there was no company whatsoever.

Exactly: Net ZERO on all fronts. Zero turnaround project, zero update on "testing", zero update on "contracts" and cherry on the cake, zero shares to sell. At the end All is finally equalised to Zero. As cunning NR used to say: "they ain't seen nothing yet" - Soon they will all see eveything.

Putting bits and pieces for sale if there is a buyer, receiving a bit of charity from zombies is the only "activity" I can see.
I cannot understand how they are still listed.

Oh come on!!

It's not the reduction in the number of employees that's relevant, it's his skills as a CEO that are important.

He may be a good scientist, but the skillset of a CEO is very different, hence he needs to employ a "turnaround specialist" to make up for the fact he dosn't have the required skillset.

A decent CEO would use his knowledge and experience to turn the business around, he would not need to employ an outside consultant to do this from the off.
