Ade, I can assure you there has been no bad news anywhere. There is however plenty of misinformed gossip by people like you suggesting otherwise. Private chat groups are simply for groups of like minded individuals that have a preference for discussing topics of interest without the risk of discussions being hijacked. Discussions have been nothing but positive and no market sensitive information is ever presented. They are also a good way for PI's to collate appropriate questions to be presented to the VRS team.

Who is on the private twitter thread? If there is bad news the company is legally bound to tell us immediately. If it's China I don't care as it's not going anywhere at the moment and might encourage them to concentrate on do-able stuff.

I'm pretty sure it's disillusioned PIs Ade. Why wouldn't they be when they can make more money elsewhere at the moment. Hopefully that will soon change. If it doesn't 50p? Hope not as I will have to be out before that.

Club, my predictions and comments are like everyone else's just comments based on a conviction of what this company is achieving, you may say well they have achieved nothing but l disagree and am prepared to wait for all to fall into place, massive deals are on the cards and massive profits will follow, takes your position and makes your choice the wheel is spinning. Good luck to us all l say.

"some pi are losing faith or tw and his gang are borrowing stock to short.

Coming from someone who clearly states they are a VRSTrader! If your point is valid sir, why don't you buy those 230,000 shares then if you have so much faith? Surely they will be worth more once the China deal is done at a big premium? I'll wait for your big buy to print. Remember, preserve your capital first and foremost. Looks like plenty of nervous PIs have already done so this morning. They clearly didn't like what they heard privately.

You may be right Clubbie but I'm not sure where the zeros come from. More likely someone will get it dirt cheap. It's in a downward trend at the moment and may well hit 50p soon at this rate. About time someone pulled their finger out and got a deal.If they are all trying as hard as possible then it's maybe the wrong approach.

With regards the financial aspect, as I understand it, this will obviously vary depending on each deal done. It's in our favour that there are no prices out there as Neill can look at the cost saving (longterm) for the company/product and pitch his price accordingly.

1teepee - dunno about wuzy, but *my* latest prediction is that VRS won't even exist by year-end. They'll drag some small deal over the line kicking and screaming, the markets will wake up to the potential, a takeover battle breaks out and the company is sold for somewhere between £20 and £30 a share. And whoever buys it then flips it to the Chinese government for the equivalent of £100 a share.

Thanks super, I thought so. Any ideas what needs to be agreed then at this stage? I would have thought that the money was the hard bit in a commercial deal so hopefully the other parts are fairly quick and straightforward, just timing???

Aquae - that is precisely the $64bn question. Even if the clown posse ever start selling graphene, how much will it sell *for*? Current capacity 3T. So at £1/g that's £1m/T, total £3m. At £10/g that's £30m. However, the runes really aren't good on this. They sold 12Kg to the O&G client and really don't seem to have got very much for it, as evidenced in the latest figures released. McLaren paid £100k for 1kg several years ago now - so £100/g - but it seems unlikely the current price would be anything like that. So pick a figure, any figure you like. One of the problems with VRS is that the markets can't accurately price it yet. You might even find that if the company sells 3T for £3m the share price goes *down*; everyone is expecting 'staggering' and 'mind-blowing', and such an order - at that price - wouldn't underpin the current market cap. In short - none of us have got a scooby. Even Graham, though he'll pretend otherwise...
