Good to see posters latching onto carpets and the scope that market offers. It's one I was banging on about some months ago and which I still consider a major area. Not so much domestic carpets (though that is a big market) but commercial venues; exhibition halls, buses & trains, conference centres, hotel chains; national and international retail store chains; cruise liners; etc; etc, where toughness, resistance to wear and to soiling are areas that can surely be enhanced by several of these new material developments.

John

All covered in who MAS supply.

Graphene PIs remain with higher Modulus and UTS, the graphite PI just is just not up to the task. They will simply slip off into the same hole they hope try to climb out of, perhaps to never to recover. That's true for 80% plus of them.

The relationship with MAS has been under an NDA for the last almost 2 years, presumably working along with third parties on technology and product development. It is reasonable to assume that someone has a product ready for manufacture for this recent commercial arrangement but that information is embargoed until product launch. I don't believe MAS would take this step without a clear understanding of where it is going.

This underlines the often quoted line that Neill and the team are working 6 months ahead of what we know. Remember that recently Chris said he was confident we were close to substantial revenues.

Now, where is 2/5 ?

adejuk - business case not proved until actual contracts are signed for defined amounts of product at a defined price: commercial terms.

I'll stop when we get the first few such *significant* (Tonnes not Kgs) deals. And not before.

Tim
Then you'll be glad to know some trash merchants we have had in the past had large amounts of VRS stock shares in their accounts and sold all for about a 2p gain.

They then got absolutely destroyed in their fave investment, various PIs, some obvious some not.

All down to simple point. Not understanding what they were invested in and doing the research to get that understanding.

For some over the years it has completely wiped them out. Begging some to sell presenting them with irrefutable facts isn't enough. All they see is £ signs. £'s are a very strange mind warping 'drug'.

No money involved and they laugh things off saying you have got to be f'ing kidding me, that's a hoax.

You are going to be millionaires and all sense gets chucked out of the window.

Sorry must go, got to send cash via fleece pay and all my details to get my inheritance. I'm the sole beneficiary of some old guy of the wonga tribe from Peru apparently who passed away recently, lucky me eh!.

Hell I hardly knew the guy but I'm getting millions, just need to send the £10k first, well worth it.

Alchemy,

The average HEV uses 10Kgs of graphite and the average EV uses 70Kgs in the lithium anode.
Worldwide market for new cars is 70M per annum, with HEV and EV taking maybe 17% of that (16% HEV + 1% EV). So, total graphite usage worldwide is approx 180,000 kgs per annum.

Imagine all that graphite being replaced with a higher energy density, more conductive graphene anode.

Ok,

Carpets - Mainly polymer based. World production 3.9Bn m2. Carpet weight 4 to 17 lbs/m2.
Use the lower figure - 7 million tons/yr fibre. At 0.5% graphene that equates to 35,000 tpa. As Graphene would I assume reduce wear rate and use less polymer /m2. You could maybe halve that figure.

“I really hope the impatient and the greedy ones, get out too early.”

That’s what happened to a few when the share price was at 10-15p nelly and they’ve been bitter and twisted ever since. Patient holders will be rewarded here ;-)
