Love all of the posts knocking charting, shows you where the bottom is and makes you wonder why people are still selling , but they are only relevant in the short term as sentiment shifts to other shares.

However, combine the two , checking that a company is financially viable and making sure they have and are doing what they say they are doing is very important with a large investment.

Most importantly you need to decide if it is a lifestyle BOD and whether you can trust what the CEO is telling you as their role is to promote the company in all aspects. Versarien have ticked all of the boxes regarding honesty and progress and charts aid the decision to buy more and relax.

There are other companies on AIM where you can trust the CEO but they are few and far between , you pays your money and takes your choice !

Referencing charts and traders’ reliance on past behaviour to predict the future, I view Fridays news to be a complete phase transition viz a profound and fundamental change in state where previous metrics can no longer be extrapolated to estimate future trends.

So post Fridays signing ceremony anyone that is basing their investments on the past and does not take the time to investigate the company and its remarkable potential is doomed to miss the biggest opportunity that is likely to occur in their life.

I said once before that the majority of II try to see the future in the rear view mirror so the vast majority are going to miss the take off with the exception of those previously alerted to the potential.

Had it not been for the eagle eyed Jointer we would be none the wiser at the moment that the blue touch paper had been lit so I doubt that there will be any significant level of awareness in the open market until an RNS is in play confirming that the intentions outlined in the earlier RNS have now been implemented.

I would therefore think that very few, other than the II and HNW individuals that attended any of the investment forums or have connection with Berenberg will immediately be coming on board.

My expectations are that there will be a rise in the share price tomorrow but until the whole market becomes aware of Versariens future it would be futile to predict the initial rate of increase or where we will reach in the next few weeks.

Notwithstanding, I could not be more confident that within a very short time once the market smells the coffee we will be looking at multiples of the current share price and that going forward the sky is too low to define the limit.

As Ian Cassel has Tweeted today:

Selling for quick 5-10% gains can give you a good income but holding for 100-500-1000%+ gains is how you build wealth.

Fully agree with you on charting Superg.

It is mildly tempting to try and preempt these trading patterns, as clearly there is money to be made, but it is high risk.

Also unless you bet substantial amounts the gains are small, and you could lose badly if you mistime the market.

Plus there is also the question as to the morality of trading vs long term investing, particularly when false information is involved, and I just sit more comfortably as a LTH.

Everything to do with BIGT comes as a package. I can't therefore understand why Chris would sign off some part of it and leave themselves exposed by not signing off everything. That ceremony was far too big and formal to be simply signing off opening an institute. They must have signed off more than that.

An even bigger factor when trusting AIM charts is the blind herd. Chart guys say the trend is pointing to the news, predicting the news.

Herd trends which can drive a chart very often have little to do with sensible reviewing of the position of a company.

How much cash is in the bank along with likely fund raise points is key. It can be fairly easy to predict when a fund raise is in play as the bent market will take the price down regardless of the buy/sell trend.

It takes about 2 weeks start to finish re fund raising. The Nomad is alerted and the fund raise tour starts. The company is put in front of various crooks and scumbags (that's just the funds) who get the inside info and start the game of trashing the SP, nudging mates and so on. Then demanding discount on decision day. MMs forward sell to suppress the market.

Nomads get extremely shirty if you try to do it quicker than 2 weeks, how are they supposed to Fk the company over in shorter timescales.

It's organised crime in its easiest form with virtually no risk of prosecution.

Hey perhaps we'll see CEOs on Panorama one day revealing just how bad it all is, PIs will be stunned.

next we will have the scumbags coming on with there subtle deramping and innuendo's

they think they do it in a clever way...but I would say most on here can see right through them.

I think we will see some panicky posts from them...tough.

No @mandatory the report looks genuine enough but wasn't BIGT meant to be making a CASH purchase of 25% of VRS perhaps at a premium?

The report suggests VRS is a partner in something like the Chinese version of GEIC. Are VRS paying a fee for membership as they do with GEIC? Is that cost paid in new shares? Is that the BIGT "investment"?

No doubt if it's material we'll have an RNS tomorrow explaining why.

While on that Zac topic.

FFS ignore the chart bit he did re FDI.

FDI are in huge debt and are likely to go bust as it stands. Highly illiquid so I wonder if that was to get some buying while mates exit.

Such a shame as they worked hard, got the large diamond mine up and running but the diamond market collapsed and looks dead for some time. I know some in the industry and they think FDI is dead in the water.

On another point.

This is a lengthy and highly complicated conclusion (continuing in some parts) from UOM, GEIC through the DIT and Versarien for the start of the graphene industrial revolution to come.

For anyone else to get involved would take a long time. The easiest route by far is to ring VRS, reveal the breakthrough you have (if viable) and introduce it through VRS to China.

So VRS become the go to company with your idea. VRS with UOM/GEIC and assistance from various others determine if the new idea is viable and potentially incorporate it into VRS.

The depth of connections and respect VRS have in the industry will be and is priceless.

Meanwhile scumbags of the dirtiest type, with various lies and deceit, have spent a year or two trying to destroy a UK start up that looks like it will be at the top of the graphene revolution to come.

It made me chuckle re Zac said Some bulls still think it can still do well, lmao.

Yet when the tide turns they will forget all of the negativity and point out how clever they are spotting it and predicting the huge growth VRS will see.

So VRS have been just thrust front and centre in China for their the graphene innovation master plan in their country.

Hell fire lets hope the Chinese don't somehow get options to buy into VRS via other exchanges, the share price would go completely barmy.

The photo isn't a "say cheese" photo.

It's a photo of the 10 in the front row all signing something at the same time, all looking down with pens is a clue.

So well done Jointer, something big happened in China with VRS at the centre of it.

China want to press on with graphene, they see VRS/UK gov as their best option to move forward.

And they just signed the first part of that to take it forward, VRS are obviously a big cog ing that wheel that has just started to turn as a result of that launch.

I look forward to news on the topic.

I doubt VRS had the time to write a full RNS and get it reviewed by the Nomad before release. There could also be other parts we don't know of yet

Big cheers to jointer13 and all the other knowledgable posters with their research on VRS here.
After a 7 hour drive on Friday the China news and the share rise was just the tonic required.
Nice comfortable type of feeling in the VRS camp over this weekend with happenings in China.

This is China's main thrust on the graphene revolution they intend to develop.

700 guests there, it's the China graphene main event and will happen every year now.

That was the launch of the start of the revolution the incubation park from which the products and growth will develop.

A massive graphene event for China hence the news is everywhere in China.

Novosolev got a mention but he gets back row alongside Dr Kari Hjelt the head of innovation for the graphene flagship.

Up front and centre a guy called Chris Leigh of VRS.

Under the witness of many guests, the Beijing Graphene Industry Innovation Center Seed Incubation Park was officially launched. The first batch of enterprises stationed in the park carried out a series of activities such as centralized signing,

The incubator center was established by the joint venture between Haohang Unicom (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Versarien Plc of the United Kingdom.

In the VRS news the director general gave the statement.

In the jointer news

Cui Xulong, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economics and Information Technology, said that Beijing has the country's leading scientific and technological innovation strength, and is constantly creating a new situation of industrial innovation and development, accelerating the layout of upstream and downstream industries, and opening up the upstream and downstream, and through the production, learning, research and use.

Those Chinese all they are doing is ramping VRS and just joining the 'cult'.

Alternatively they have had enough of the Trump games that have knoocked their trading a little and have decided to go ahead with the graphene revolution , it will boost their economy and once they decide it is time to do that.... they do it!

Will the US continue to sit on their laurels regarding graphene, we will see?

Covered various times but the point is it was in the news on Sept 25th from VRS. It's quite obviously the deal as mentioned in the RNS on 25th Sept.

The strategy agreed between BIGT and Versarien is to create an incubation hub in Beijing in partnership with the Chinese Government's Administrative Committee of Beijing Petrochemical New Materials Science and Technology Industry Base,

In the news jointer found

Beijing Petrochemical New Materials are mentioned as present and involved in the launch

Also in the VRS news

The Director General of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and IT has provided the following statement to the Company:

"The collaboration between Versarien, BIGT, CIGIU and the Beijing Government is completely aligned with the industrial strategic positioning and trend. We will lend our full support, without hesitation. We will also liaise with other Beijing Government Departments and the Beijing District Government to progress this initiative. Throughout the process we will carefully plan the deal structure and conditions and the IP matters. In conclusion we have no problem in supporting this collaboration."

So in theory a big cog in the wheel of the VRS/UK gov/China gov plan for mass production of graphene related products.
