01/11/2019 17:38 | More like 0-60 in 2.fuuuucckkk as I recall BGT. | superg1
01/11/2019 17:24 | 0-60 times are the worst way to judge a car..so many other parameters and variables to consider and we all know that electric cars can accelerate fast, its the other parts that matter...hence why the Porsche is the better car. Lets hope that VRS is working on the same best by being good at many things not just the fastest out the blocks.... | global nomad
01/11/2019 17:05 | Ricketts' Random Retweets I reckon are an attempt to appear nonchalant rather than be accused of fuelling excitement by posting anything with relevant hints ;-) | grabster
01/11/2019 16:40 | I'd like a Porsche 911 turbo, 0-62 in 3 seconds, Dreaming on. | bgt1
01/11/2019 16:37 | I’m not a trader, never traded shares, only ever been a LTH in companies as I believe that is the way to generate serious profits. To add i’m also fed up with the negative (disingenuous posters) and the “over positive rampers” alike. The main thread is basically the same posts over and over again, and relies upon the dissection of VRS workers Twitter posts, likes and retweets...and then add in the posters like Club Moron and Festario 1-100 (or whatever ID he’s now up to), it frankly becomes a waste of time for a balanced investor. Either way nice to see a healthy rise in my VRS pot today, I will be delighted to see the rise continue next week 🍻 | tomduck
01/11/2019 16:29 | Brexit scheduled 31st October. A lot of people involved in this China meeting so must have been scheduled for a while and coincidentally 1st November day after we should have left EU Coincidence? | iofra
01/11/2019 16:26 | Posts worked fine for me on Chrome, here in darkest Africa. It came up with a Google Translate option box, which also worked fine. Sitting tight, but today's rise would have bought me a used Renault (Dacia) Duster 4x4 to do more exploring up in the Karoo. Patience rules. | bazzerp
01/11/2019 16:26 | Clearly there is “news” and “news” but personally as long as we are making progress in the right direction I am happy. This is a share with almost unlimited potential, yes there are risks and there is still much work to be done but fantastic progress is being made. I am an investor, not a trader. Trading is a zero sum game, investing for growth creates wealth, you take your choice, but I am tired of the disingenuous nature of several posters here on ADVFN. | johnveals
01/11/2019 16:14 | Not sure where you got the 4 sec from. Taycan Turbo S 0-62 officially 2.8 secs from what I've read. | cheshiremoggie
01/11/2019 16:09 | It was a test that went beyond 62mph, and Porsche are often conservative in their car performance claims. | mandatory
01/11/2019 16:04 | John, there is “news” and there is “news” ie something that proves serious revenue generation, I think that is what many are after. To slap such thoughts down is odd, any half decent investor wants a balanced view, not just a “I can only see blue sky” thread. After all many of the investors on the other thread are rather old and probably can’t see as well as they’d like ;) | tomduck
01/11/2019 16:03 | You don't hope for an RNS covering the signing come Monday morning too Johnveals? Keep it real. Regards. | billwave
01/11/2019 16:00 | “Lets hope it will be backed up with some real news soon.” FFS! Billwave - you can say what you like on this thread but it is little gems like this that gets you nowhere on the other thread. | johnveals
01/11/2019 15:51 | don't understand how the Porsche could do that tbh........the top of the range Turbo S gets to 62mph in 4 secs. a Tesla Model S with ludicrous mode engaged gets there in less than 3. | herschel k
01/11/2019 15:47 | Maybe Neil is angling for a job at, or deal with, Tesla. I watched a vid last night where the Porsche Taycan beat the Tesla Model S in a road test. Elon must be hopping mad. What will he pay to get ahead again with a Graphene enhanced car? | mandatory
01/11/2019 15:41 | Rheumking if you read my posts I've suggested that the BB does not allow a balanced view due to the degree of moderation and attitude of pro VRS posters. Accepting, sympathising, and debating some alternative views as my own, instead of dismissing and snubbing would help make it more balanced. The majority of my posts today are in response to being addressed as you have done. That aside, congratulations to all holders on a great lift today, much needed to raise spirits and worthy of a few beers in celebration I'd say. Lets hope it will be backed up and sustained with some real news soon. I continue to follow the story with interest. Regards. | billwave

01/11/2019 15:28 | Looks like Jointer has just won himself the first free Tesla! | matheus7777
01/11/2019 15:28 | Jointer Yes me too, very many thanks for your really good work. Monday should see some comment and an RNS...if somewhat belatedly..well done again Jointer for spotting this news as it was being signed. | squiresquire
01/11/2019 15:26 | Yes, great research Jointer. Now we really are nearly at tipping point ;) | clint fleecewood
01/11/2019 15:23 | Thank you, jointer, and well done finding this information. I have long valued your many contributions to this thread, especially those that arrived early in the morning to cheer one in the absence of an RNS. I first had cause to thank you many years ago when I asked for a link to some info on IOF and you were the person who kindly supplied it. Ever since then I have looked out for your posts and valued them. Many thanks. | mikkydhu
01/11/2019 15:23 | Flying into the close of day! NY Boy is like a drowning man thrashing about with his 'tips'. | clint fleecewood
01/11/2019 15:15 | I still can't believe that I originally bought into Haydale rather than VRS! I still have Shavian to thank for pointing out the error of my ways and once we hit the stratosphere, will be looking to buy him a pint or two! | cheek212 |
