13/10/2019 11:12 | Watching the Graphene Council presentation made it clear that this is not about selling a product , it’s about selling a complete service because each application is different. When you are talking about critical infrastructure then there is no room for error. But once you have the customers confidence , the sky is the limit. VRS will get to that tipping point. Patience will pay huge dividends. GLA | matt2019
13/10/2019 10:11 | At my last place of employment, they replaced metal cones ( which needed replacing on a 12 month basis) with ceramic cones (which very rarely needed replacing, with a possible lifespan of 5 years plus) in furnaces that were run at an operating temperature of 695°c.The ceramic cones function is to help spread the heat and prevent any hot spots from developing in a gas furnace. If you can imagine multiple cones hanging from the furnace ceiling, with the heat source also coming from the ceiling. At higher temperatures than the above furnaces is where I would imagine Hexotene would come into its own... | ![]() affc21
13/10/2019 09:28 | Or they could put it in ceramics in furnaces which os what the RNS was about. That’s a known use for ceramics which is expected to have a limited lifespan and be destroyed needing re-lining. The commercial gain there, is a longer lifespan and less, costly downtime. | ![]() superg1
13/10/2019 09:27 | Most, if not all here, will know that RRs total R and D is now on development of electric powered thrust. 100%...............O | ![]() alchemy
13/10/2019 08:54 | When Versarien subsidiary Total Carbide won its £200,000 order from Rolls Royce Aero, I presume that didn't include any of the group's new materials such as graphene or Hexotene. But if the order was satisfactorily executed it does leave open a marketing pathway in that direction. | ![]() grabster

12/10/2019 22:16 | Hexotene probably a perfect fit for jet engines fan blades, but would take longer to market due to all the strenuous testing required...life's depend on it. I would have thought Hexotene rocket nozzles could potentially be quicker to market, perhaps testing is not quite as strenuous, due to the expected (but not wanted) odd rocket failures...as is seen occasionally...with launches in remote locations. Just a thought, but a good suggestion Laginaneil. | ![]() affc21
12/10/2019 21:47 | Talking about Rolls Royce, If Hexotene is good for rocket engine nozzles what about Hexotene in jet engine turbine blades ?? | ![]() laginaneil
12/10/2019 21:39 | Yes good man Sandbag !! Thank you. | ![]() laginaneil
12/10/2019 19:37 | Sandbag That says it all and much more Best wishes Ff | ![]() forestfred
12/10/2019 19:25 | laginaneil, You possibly read it here: sandbag - 12 Nov 2018 - 13:32:18 - 47471 of 80661 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS Well, I've finally got a reply from HMG: "I can confirm we have two individuals seconded to Versarien and a third person seconded to Rolls Royce UK. We are unable to provide you with the individual's name due to an absolute exemption under Section 40(2) of the Act." So, there we have it. The government think that RR with tens of thousands of employees and billions of pounds of exports justifies the secondment of someone from the DTI. What does that say about the secondment of two senior figures to Versarien? That one fact alone is massive. I repeat MASSIVE! | ![]() sandbag

12/10/2019 18:33 | Also don't forget all the BIGT noise is coming from VRS and Neill in particular. I'd have thought his motivation was obvious. He does have a habit of selling shares into news announcements like BIGT | ![]() loglorry1
12/10/2019 17:50 | Are you being deliberately obtuse Loglorry. The Ceres Power share price is looking pretty healthy with all that investment and it is the future revenues that result from this investment that will drive the share price still higher, a blue print VRS are trying to emulate, now will sign off as have a life to lead. | aquaesulis01
12/10/2019 17:44 | logrorry1: Firstly, thank you for your balanced reply. I would not be invested for the copper foam aspect but acknowledge the connection.I appreciate your stance until a revenue RNS is announced. Time moves on and the second hand is moving. At what juncture will you acknowledge positive commercialisation? My timescale is moving closer by the day. | ![]() ad631
12/10/2019 17:42 | So you reckon Matt wouldn’t be able smell anything fishy. Hmmm, so you and Lucien are suggesting that BIGT does not exist and it’s all a sham and that Matt’s such a dullard that he hasn’t noticed he’s speaking to imaginary Chinese government officials, universities, etc. Presumably you would agree he’s been having meetings with Chinese officials. If so, then what have they got to gain by pretending to want to invest in VRS. Please state your allegation clearly and answer the following questions with a yes/no. do you believe Matt is deliberately misleading investors? Do you believe Matt and Neill are involved in any type of fraudulent activity to mislead investors? | schmally
12/10/2019 17:37 | It didn't transform the share price. | ![]() loglorry1
12/10/2019 17:29 | Ceres Power We now have license agreements in place with four of the world's largest engineering and power companies. Bosch and Weichai have chosen not only to partner with us but have invested in significant equity stakes, aligning them to the future success of our business and ensuring that Ceres is well-capitalised to deliver against its strategy. I think you will find Weichai are a Chinese company | aquaesulis01 |
