The point being that directors can't deal if in receipt of info that is highly price sensitive. A credible 29.9% offer at a price still undisclosed is just that. It was undisclosed at the time of his share sale.

The fact he sold into the strength created by the BIGT news is not relevant as this was disclosed before the sale.

You may not see the problem but I suspect you'd be happy if Neill kicked you in the gonads and told you it was just all part of vrsfamily.

As I said soap opera.

So BIGT was announced on the 15th - very positive event - and options exercised and sold 15th. I don't see a problem with that. Had it been negative news then I could see a it would have been a big problem.

True. I was just thinking about reading that the FTSE is "falling because of fears of a global recession". And thought - "This is the place to be". History shows new things emerge in such conditions .(Economic History ...where? ..... at York......(of course). Other centres of learning are available and say the same ..even the University of Real-Life). As indices fall some individual stocks shine. It may even hedge either Brexit outcome ...no it will.!

Thank you for your touching concern pshevlin - for your information, I am an ardent fan of the NHS which has always served my family very well and IMHO will continue to do so once we stop chucking billions down the European drain. Anyway, enough from me, I'm only responding to Brexit taunts in the interests of balance and in the absence of the real reason we are all here which is earth-shattering news of a substantial VRS deal. May one come soon!

senden...hope you have private healthcare because the mortality figures for the UK are going to take quite a hit after your default brexit. At least it will be the old people who voted for it who get first dibs.

fireball, the real fantasy was that the utopian dream of a united states of Europe could ever actually work in practice - economically, fiscally, politically, democratically and lawfully - across so many disparate proud nations, cultures and economies. The more it expanded, the more unequal it became and it was all essentially driven/directed/controlled by a number of idealistic grey bureaucrats across the water. The only surprise for me is that the EU has survived this long, however, it seems likely that all is about to unravel. The UK may well be the first major country to withdraw from the EU but it certainly won't be the last.

What a mess. Boris falls on his Backstop and produces another round of constipation. This leave lunacy is for the birds. Don't care who lambasts me it an idle proposition dreamt up round a camp fire. The idealistic fantasy of youth rights the world and follows a dream. There is a growing need for more care institutions for the Brexiters, they have most definitely list it.

ade, pshev, dont spread fear. We know you look more than VRS price. It has held much stronger. You should thank there are no big funds and should remember last Oct when market fell like crazy, mostly because of the funds.
