Soldierboy – a little more detail for you – Neill did not have ‘a few weeks to play with’ – he explained via Twitter that he sold his shares at the last possible point before losing his deposit. His house purchase should have completed in December but because of newsflow he had been ‘inside’ since nearly Nov. He used his options as they were very tax efficient, and he still has a large mortgage which he obviously could have cleared by selling a lot more shares.

Nice to see VRS heading the list of corporate partners:

Agenda limits virtually all speakers for less than 10 mins. Neil, like the other CEOs gets 7 mins. His section is graphene and aerospace.Craigy

For the record Paul Scott is an accountant and as such he looks at companies financial records. Therefore on these metrics he would be wise to stay away from VRS. As we know it's all about the future not the past. However this does not excuse his boorish comments. His drink problem is no excuse.

Good luck to the USA team this week and looking forward to finding out what the Korean trip was all about.

I increased my VRS holding last week. Made a few quid on iOF which I’d been watching for years. I sold half near the highs and the rest, free carry, the morning of the RNS. Very happy to increase here, far more upside in this 4th revolution, at which we have a place on the top table. Commodity plays have tended to bite me, management might be solid but the markets have other players and demands. Good luck to those in IOF, solid company with good prospects but not much upside until the latest promises of expansion and new products get some traction. I’ll wait until they start to deliver on those as I’ve often experienced the lengthy delays comfort brings.

super said vrs was a once in a lifetime share, why then would you put money into a less attractive share, especially when vrs seems such a bargain at this price?

Neill has sold options previously, prior to news that moved the share price significantly higher. He could have waited and made a bucket more money on that sale.

But, as he's said before, he's not in it for the money.

Decent CEO with spades of integrity.

Fest, the difference is profound. Tern has the same characteristics as VRS: multi-sector; global markets; Fortune 500 companies acting as resellers for the Tern investee companies; both dependent on timing of first: Graphene adoption, second, IoT implementation. IOF has none of those characteristics. As you are aware, I practice a canti-lever strategy. For this to make sense, each company in the ‘pair’has to have similar characteristics.

Soilderboy Neill needed to sell some options, not shares, in order to complete the exchange of contracts for a larger house to accommodate his six children as they grow up. Pretty low level comment by you in my view.

Soldierboy, you've had polite answers (which I believe you knew anyway), so can I suggest you are wasting your time continuing with your 'questions'.

Then thats ok then. But if you new a big order was round the bend and you had a few weeks to play with; would you sell?

Soldierboy - they were options, Neill's core stock holding is still intact. You're spouting nonsense.

He was desperate for cash as he was buying a house and was due to complete hence sold options. Next

Some of you didn't like what i said when mentioning Neil selling his shares and timing.Well the business head on you wpuld never make you sell off somw of your shares if you new there was GREAT news or orders just around the corner. Unless you were desperate for the cash doe to adverse cicumstances.I said this at over 1.30ish. Here we are!

Southern Rock seems to be taking a large chunk of £Iof. Isn’t that Aaron Banks’s company?

Personally I’d want nothing to do with anything to do with that shady operator. And I agree with Rid there are too many variables.

Each to their own though. £Iof might be a great short-term trade if Fest can actually bring himself to sell.

If you look at Paul Scott's tweets the other night it was fairly clear he was "bladdered".

He has a reputation for it!

Yep, and why wouldn't I?16p is the price to buy IOF at. If the city spivs are carving it up why not take a slice?

Agree RTJ There will be sellers here to cover the need for Iofina placing cash. Imagine selling a multi-sector technology leading share, about to be the cutting edge of the 4th industrial revolution to buy a commodity producer, dependant on brine suppliers and the Iodine price! Not saying IOF is a bad share, just that VRS is infinitely better. Hey ho, I have some money standing by too.
