The tipping point for EVs is near:

"Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup has announced the launch of its new bus operation, VinBus, which will operate 3,000 all-electric buses across the country from March 2020. .. including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho."

More than half the new cars sold in Norway last year were EVs.

ellis - I agree, it may be that Marko's brief did not require him to do more than whatever he did do. (I wonder if we are keeping the Palo Alto office space? That, I think, was in the name of the UK company - so if keeping it I guess it might be relabelled as an outpost of Versarien Graphene Inc.?) (Though not mentioned at all in the recent Austin facility announcement, so more likely shut? A question for NR perhaps)

What we can say with certainty, is that in the space of 2 years, we have gone from a point of introduction in a shared office facility - to forming a US subsiduary inc company, hiring a full time staff, and establishing a facility in houston, with an very able, experienced and enthusiatic VP at the helm. Fair to call that exponential progress !

At first sight it appears that way grabster. But we don't know the relationships that were initiated by having an office presence in cali back then, and which the houston facility can now progress. Ie In the usa update neill said existing relationships in play? What we can say with certainty, is that in the space of 2 years, we have gone from a point of introduction in a shared office facility - to forming a US subsiduary inc company, hiring a full time staff, and establishing a facility in houston, with an very able, experienced and enthusiatic VP at the helm. Fair to call that exponential progress ! and it looks like we have a massive opportunity next week on cap hill and beyond :) aimo. Best ellis

Not held GVC for about 9 months, I brought all my firepower here, sold GVC at about 800p, but it did touch 1160p sometime later.
Not an issue though because VRS was climbing faster at that point.
Things not looking so rosey for either share these days

On both, yes a bit of the doldrums at present. Here I go back to my GEIC thoughts that peoples timings were a little optimistic. Having said that though now is about the time to start thinking news should be there or thereabouts due and on the price I wouldn't have been surprised if it drifted back down to 60, didn't really get anywhere near so am pleased how it's held up. Just need the news now, of course. Anyway pub and scantily dressed ladies await so catch you later
