Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien plc, commented:
“We are very pleased to have reached the term sheet stage in our discussions with Beijing Institute of Graphene Technology. This developing relationship potentially offers a huge opportunity for the Company and we look forward to progressing matters.
“During the last six months we have announced a number of MOUs with global manufacturers based in China, together with securing relationships with Chinese provincial government bodies. The plans with BIGT are complementary to these.
“We look forward to continuing detailed discussions with BIGT and making further announcements in due course as we look to rapidly scale the Versarien graphene business. We remain well funded and any capital would only be accepted to appropriately accelerate our growth plans.”

Re the 1.45 placing shares. 2.2 mill of those were sold before adding on PI flippers.

It matters not other than putting the facts out there for those that mention it.

Pondering whether/what to sell for cash anticipating the new shares opportunity, I have to accept that as VRS and its global deals and the £££;numbers grow, I just won't be able to stay the course (in %age terms) for long whatever I do now...... a thought to ease my frustration.

Regarding IP, there are another couple of hundred 2D materials that can be commercialised, some may be just as valuable in the future as Nanene is today.

What is HoT?

the Term Sheet envisages BIGT assisting Versarien with the establishment of a subsidiary in China, wholly owned by the Company. So doesn't mean the subsidiary is owned by the company and then they will give 15% of versarien to China

The HoT was witnessed and approved by Her Britannic Majesty's Trade Commissioner to China - Mr Richard Burn - that's how significant this next step is #buildingonsolidfoundations #doyougetityet

"Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise (WFOE, sometimes incorrectly WOFE) is a common investment vehicle for mainland China-based business wherein foreign parties (individuals or corporate entities) can incorporate a foreign-owned limited liability company.[1] The unique feature of a WFOE is that involvement of a mainland Chinese investor is not required, unlike most other investment vehicles (most notably, a sino-foreign joint venture)."
