If she can break 130, then we just have resistance at 135.50,(set at the end of Dec) to break through.. then it's off to the races again!

It must have been them that were buying on Friday afternoon, chasing the price up from 120p to 126p.They then benefited from a lull after the weekend, and have picked up more in the low to mid 120s.There won't be much supply left at that level soon, then they'll have to up their instruction.

I think it's pretty clear now that the institution has been buying since the 70p and 80p days, and it's possible that Cannacord introduced them. What's also clear is that they buy anything below 130p.Above that they back off, and let more supply come onto the market from those traders who think that 130 is the ceiling.Well it is for now. They are building a position, but in a very structured way.

All loose stock being readily picked up. I'm liking this phenomenon.

My platform effectively does an in-specie transfer from GIA to ISA (and PP, if required), but for economy they deal daily at 2pm unless specially instructed at greater cost (normal deals are only £3.75 each). The problem with this is if you get a big rise in the share price between the instruction and the dealing time the deal will be aborted if it goes over £20,000, so it's best to put a cash buffer in there as well. So I'm hoping that any dramatic news does not break before 2pm today.

ooops, look what's just happened to the share price!

nellyb,
Brokers will often do the two deals within minutes of each other.

when you bed and breakfast shares, I presume the broker will sell immediately and then buy back when they can - perhaps a couple of days later. i'm trying to weigh up whether it would be safer to sell myself and then buy back straight away?

Fest, have you watched the cooking show with Martha Stewart? It's one of the best things he has done :)

He's a great entertainer and a canny entrepreneur.
