Having taken place in four primary bid placings i can pretty much confirm the following:

1.If you made a debit card payment for shares on friday you WILL be allocated those shares.(Strictly its allocation when the debit card transaction is made)
Formal confirmation will arrive on monday morning.

2.When you take part in a placing with primarybid the funds are held by jarvis investment management Ltd they own Sharedeal active and X-O sharedealing services.

3.If you open an account with one of the above you will get the shares allocated into your account this thursday and you will be able to deal/sell those shares on friday morning.(On the primarybid website you can choose where to allocate your shares i.e broker and account number)

4.If you have an alternative broker it will be monday/tuesday of the following week at the earliest...(I have TD direct it took a a few days longer as i had to complete a stock transfer form on my first placing hence why i opened a sharedeal active account wasn't necessary).

I took part in the Ascent resources last friday..shares were allocated to my sharedeal active account on thursday and i sold them on friday morning T+5 day settlement so this will be the same time-frame!

Hope that helps those interested in using primarybid and the best way to take advantage.

Bones: "imminent" re: IGE (I think one of your stocks and mine) is at a show in Paris this month - so it could say "imminent" but did not because simply being in a trade show does not translate automatically to sales (but it might - touchwood). I like the word "imminent" because it implies the £1M+ fund raiser is a safe bet because a good rise is just round the corner. But "imminent" might mean up to three months or more. I would not have thought RNS on monday - but who knows, its certainly possible

Assume they are referring to amounts applied for.

So anyone who says they got £25k, £50k or whatever from Primary Bid on Friday is alternative facts?

The other known unknown is the timing of the "imminent" purchase order confirmation. The use of that word might suggest a Monday morning RNS to really scupper the shorts.

I agree Phoenix. The last raise earlier this year saw VRS in a weaker position and at the mercy of the traders and apparently suspect institutions looking at a quick buck. Not the case this time and I don't think it is a coincidence that VRS released an upbeat update with juicy morsels dangling from it at the same time as the finance raise. Almost certainly the company was looking to thwart the shorters and opportunists this time round. As discussion here has shown, no one really knows how this will open on Monday. My feeling is the MMs will jack it up early on and play it by ear thereafter.

Quite frankly I cannot see many taking short term profits. Just look at the trading update rns. That is huge statement to investors that VRS are on the way to substantial deals with multi billion pound companies and there will be more to come.
The small funding raising is for rapid expansion. Less than 10% dilution with institutional holders backing management.
Just a reminder that investors have bought up over 20m of sells in the six weeks of September and October. How many short term shares are going to be out there?? Very few I would suggest and I believe that if some are sold they will be bought up.

So looking at that no PI shares will be in accounts this week and they should start to arrive the following week.

BTW that may be a good thing if the imminent word was right.

For what its worth it took over a month for me to get my shares across from P bid but that was mainly down to who I hold accounts with.

As I recall there was document signing process to follow and the like, so it can take time to get your shares.

There won't be any PI VRS shares in accounts tomorrow.

From the Primary bid site

When do I receive my shares after an Offer has closed?

You will receive an allocation letter within 24 hours of a placing or offer closing. This will state the Trade Date and the Settlement Date, usually we settle T+5, e.g. 5 working days after the transaction date.

Please also allow additional time for your share dealing provider to process the settlement and transfer the new shares into your account. Time required for this process varies by provider we recommend you allow at least 48 hours, but it can be longer. This is out of our control but the transfer can be facilitated by following any specific instructions given in our allocation email, or any actions requested by your provider.

Ah, ok.. so if the share price rises again this week, to say 27p... then Friday is the key date when people can start dumping their shares for an immediate 50% profit.Hmm, not sure I like the inevitability of that.

Per the RNS:"It is expected that Admission will occur and that dealings will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 10 November 2017"

I made the payment on Friday, but the PB notification included:

"Once the offer has been completed and publicly announced, all investors will be notified of their allocation of shares. In the event of a scale back, we will refund any excess funds to you within 5 working days"

Even getting the notification on Monday, I guess it still has to go to brokers before anyone can flip?

Can I just echo the sentiment re. super's research. I've been putting a class action together for the past six months relating to the Paragon Diamonds fraud, and super's help and research has been absolutely invaluable. I make no claim that he is infallible, of course, but he's a pretty shrewd guy...

Net I picked up £50k on Fridays placing but i have no intention of flipping them i didn't buy them for a quick trade i bought them as part a longer term investment time-frame.(same as the ones i still hold from the last placing.)
I also intend to take part in any future placings as long as they are above the placement price just done.
I don't understand why people are upset in missing the above there has been plenty of time to pick up cheap stock from 13p+ from the recent institutional selling and subsequent overhang recently.

axotyl if you managed to make payment on friday you will get the stock you paid for allocated.
Primarybid will close rather than letting it get way oversubscribed and having the hassle of scaling back and crediting accounts back etc
This is the fourth placing i have taken part in with them and its always been the same.

Net, this is a good board and I certainly enjoy reading it and occasionally participating. Some good posters here and a plethora of top information including Superg's exhaustive research and advice. Please don't diss it unnecessarily.

Thanks. I didn't think anyone is going to know the result of their 18p requests until tomorrow according to the PB fine print? Though quite a few punters seem to be claiming what they got.

If I get any I'm hanging in, as I said, for the long term, whatever that is; I guess we've all got different priorities.

axotyl:
Some people will rush to sell (profit take ) on the 18p purchases. Others will be buying
on the news that orders are on the way. It can go any which way. If you managed to buy
£50k at 18p and sell and 21p you would make £8K profit for doing nothing. Tempting!
Its anyones guess.

We need an 18p purchaser to give us his or her thinking
Anyone on this board buy any at 18?
What will you be doing?

A quick example of a bunch of crooks using graphene to con the public. There will be a few of those getting caught out as time goes on.

Good luck with your purchase tomorrow, I would say 3 years would be a fantastic time scale for VRS.

I'm interested in how you experienced investors forecast what will happen tomorrow, with the SP, when the market opens, and how the week will progress.

I'm in for the long term, but I'm just curious.

Nothing in the press over the weekend; is that expected? Is the world of VRS too small fry to attract financial journalists' attention?
