Hopefully next week they will be able to name names.

Judging by NR comments on twitter they have access to the machinery required immediately (the oven!) which is refreshing although how that quite works is an enigma at the moment because there should be lead time on it to get it to the factory?

They must be very busy on the graphene because this decision seems to have been made after Wednesday and with the order/s imminent they had to act quickly to service them.

It may be that others will be jumping on board not wanting to be left behind so expect the ink to ramp up.

Nateroyd unfortunately it closed within an hour of opening last night it helps if you are subscribed to primary-bid as you get the notifications on placings.
You have to be quick off the mark on certain offerings as demand is sometimes off the scale like this one was.

No guessing here just can't say.

Pretty easy if you have put the mileage in beforehand.

That was my main takeaway from the announcement also Grabster. That sounds like the type of significant milestone that could launch this stock into the stratosphere

".. the Group is currently in advanced negotiations with two of the world's largest consumer goods groups and anticipates receipt of the first purchase order imminently. The expected collaboration with one or both of these groups will be to work together on research, development and testing of Versarien's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets in polymer structures..."

Does he mean one of the top ten?

Or more likely one of the top 50?
Both lists can be googled. Any guesses?

The difficulty in guessing is that are so many ways to use the material!
Could be packagings, energy products, fabrics, coatings, appliances, etc,etc,etc..

Primarybid is out there so ordinary folk can benefit from what is on the way.

He is excited because he knows what is coming.

He works stupidly hard and being a giver he wants others to benefit from his hard work. A thoroughly nice guy and all decent folk he talks to know that and love his no BS approach.

You'll see and it's time for a "watch and learn" line on here.

Whilst you were all squabbling amongst yourselves NR has been tweeting his head off. He is either very excited or had a few beers. I think and hope it's the former

nc - well I made mistakes before (and after) acso - so it goes - nobody gets it right all the time. Sadly my early gains made me think I was brilliant when in fact I was merely lucky - an expensive mistake, corrected by the subsequent decade or so, hence the current reticence. I stay ahead, and am generally happy with that.

phoenixs - if you say so :¬)

But what's your view on the revenue reporting controversy? It was actually first raised by someone else here who didn't get the supportive reaction I would have expected.

I was actually more interested in knowing what was in the £2M of inventory, but thought it sensible to tackle one question at a time...

netcurtains - you clever boy - well done!

EDIT: no - you're too late - and apparently also a bit slow ;¬)

However, if the last PB raise is anything to go by, all you have to do is wait and by-and-by you'll get an even better opportunity...

Anyway, lucky, I meant to ask - do you agree that the graphene sales should be split out from the PVC and polypropylene rubbish, or are you content that they should all be reported together?

'your self deprecating nom de plume speaks volumes too!' - you're so right - thank you! ;¬))) Blush...

Does that count - where did you come?

Do you know if I can buy these 18p shares via my ISA cash pile?

bones - you should know!

lucky - no, being right is easy and satisfying - you should try it some time.

As for 'profiting on an up and coming company', ACSO's currently an over 500-bagger so I think I'm better qualified to speak on that question than you, wouldn't you say? Or have you done better?

Looking on LSE board, I see a few traders got in on PrimaryBid, talking risk/reward, etc. Imagine a few will cash out when shares available from the 11th. However, small issue so minimal impact I think. There will be plenty others speculating on the contract hints accompanying the raise. Bit of push-pull next week possible.
