20/3/2019 14:23 | They'll still take up to 60k shares from me, at just under 95p | ![]() festario
20/3/2019 14:18 | I have long suspected the supply to be suspicious given that there appears to be an endless supply available to sell into any rise to suppress the share price I postulated in an earlier post that it would be possible for a small group of individuals to acquire a small shareholding and sell the same shares backwards and forward to each other at lower and lower price per share in an endless stream. The shares never run out but it would drive the price down. Why? Day spread betting could make this lucrative or simply serving the needs of others who would stand to gain from the reduced share price I can imagine this could be anyone from potential partners in joint ventures to Funds with an eye to the future. PS just because your paranoid does not mean that they are not out to get you. | ![]() evergreen8
20/3/2019 13:54 | But it's a little different now, because as each batch is absorbed, the share price pings higher. | ![]() festario

20/3/2019 13:06 | Apologies to spid81. Just watched PMQ’s and the Knight has now lost all weapons available bar 1. It’s now thrown the intransigent head into the ring in the hope she can Butt the DUP into the WA. It’s an utter farce and I hope the EU reject the plea for an extension. We can’t leave on the 30th June, applied extension, as we have EU elections on the 23rd May. Well I might as well say to the Black Knight, she’s a looney. Sorry, off topic but it is in the National interest as she says, or her form and only her form of Brexit is. We might as well leave now with No Deal and wreck our place. I hope that VRS, some smart thinking with Gnano, have some shielding from this mess. Incredible. I note the Trump remark, my deal allows us to repatriate murderers and rapists quickly. Google also fined for malpractice, wish they would do something about this place. Rant over, apologies, GLA and nice Blue. | ![]() fireball xl5
20/3/2019 13:04 | adejuk, Not a tennis player myself so clueless on what's needed. Would making the weight transfer to the head from the handle/shaft make a difference ? | ![]() serratia
20/3/2019 13:02 | In aviation, weight is everything, and that means huge fuel costs. Most passenger airlines carry enough fuel not only to support the weight of the aircraft and passengers, but also the weight of the fuel itself. So it's no surprise that people like Sir Richard Branson think that all aircraft will be constructed from super-light graphene within a decade. Much lighter and much stronger than the carbon fibre composites presently used, graphene has been attracting the attentions of Airbus, which is a member of the Graphene Flagship research group, and held a symposium on graphene innovations last year. | ![]() rovi70

20/3/2019 12:51 | serrat most peeps don't want lighter rackets. weight is needed to generate power and modern rackets are super light. be good for kids prob. | ![]() adejuk

20/3/2019 12:44 | superg1 - 19 Mar 2019 - 21:11:25 - 64217 of 64277 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS Head? That has graphite platelets in it, in the throat area of the racket. Some scientists chopped one up and examined it. I sent the scientists report to the 2D tech team many moons ago. So when the ISO is embedded, Head will have to change their advertising. Perhaps to 'graphene based' like a few others do. | ![]() sandbag

20/3/2019 12:33 | ropey, The presenter asked the Uni person where in the racket was the graphene. There was a non specific reply. It's been reported that there was a small amount in the handle using probably the wrong type of Graphene. So in that case it's probably just a marketing gimmick. One the other hand yes if they used the correct polymer /Graphene mix in the whole of the racket it would be lighter and stronger. | ![]() serratia
20/3/2019 12:18 | Did anyone see 'Inside The Factory' last night ? It was about making pencils but the interesting bit was when they visited Manchester University National Graphene Inst. They talked about a new material called 'Graphene' !and how it's going to change the digital world. Couple of examples of use were given - tennis racket and phone screens ! - just imagine the number involved in these two products alone !! Keep the faith, it will come good ! | ![]() ropey
20/3/2019 12:17 | I see cambridge graphene centre of the 7 involved in this EU 2020 funded project. No indication vrs involved per se of course, but i do recall a video filmed at cgc showing how graphene fibres can be made from graphene inks? Another application with potential. Aimo.
