I've been watching Warwick Ltd making speakers and headphones using ultra thin materials, less than a quarter the width of a human hair, on BBC tonight. The headphones are apparently amazing, but at £5000 a time they need to be.Anyway, the moral of the story is that ultra thin and 2d materials are finding their way to the market place.... and being recognised on mainstream TV.

I know let's spread loads of untruths about VRS and tell people how wonderful FOR are.
That is why FOR were sent packing by the AIM.
So many shorters with so little common sense

Superg1. The agenda of FGR/Spid/warwick is so obvious it is laughable. Trash VRS in the forlorn hope that some investors will buy FGR. Not going to happen in my case. I heard that the FGR approach to raise money in London met with a resounding no and you must be joking.

As far as Superdoomary is concerned, it’s all about being bitter and twisted. He was rubbishing VRS at 15p and failed. He will be made to look like a fool again in my opinion.

Apologies but it’s hard to ignore and confirms the lie by FGR.

We said FGR had been told to sod off re the AIM.

Their news about not getting into the AIM.

“the Directors resolved to withhold going forward”

Thos sent to me apparently by good old Warwick.

“London? Well, they are still strangling themselves with their knickers over the Brexit debacle.”

It identifies his BS and tells the true story.

However, how totally unprofessional and any potential bridges destroyed.

That PRG crook Manduca said similar re the city not backing him.

Fund managers are stupid but not that stupid.

Neill is not about to announce on Twitter that the company is now profitable as such, as that is financially sensitive info' and would need to appear as an RNS, usually as a trading update or results RNS.

Neill was simply answering a Twitter question in the most appropriate way he could without it being an authoritative statement.

Best wishes - Spike

Good article Tunghsu.

It was said they don’t hang around and in just 4-5 months it gone from opening chats to MOU and LOI.

Tunghsu are already down the road on ideas and promises but I understand hit bumps in the road called graphite ‘sold’ as graphene.

Hence imo the speed displayed with VRS having found experts in the sector.

All orders making a contribution is the way I'd put it.Added up I doubt they yet cover HQ expenses plus Opex. But if they did!

tini - not so - Xenix was a great success for Microsoft - Bill Gates is reported as saying that for a long time Microsoft had the highest-volume AT&T Unix license.

On the other hand, copper foam was an abject failure for Versarien, never having sold in quantity despite a parade of pseudo-agreements (ring a bell?), and one to which they've never openly admitted.

Trollo - here for 5 days, with 3 posts, and he thinks he knows it all. Or is it a long-term poster who's too thick to defend himself and his investment? Funny the gerbil and the trollo turn up at exactly the same time, isn't it? Anyway, don't you worry about me - I'm doing well enough to pay my subs and carry on posting exactly what I like ;¬)

Glad you felt the need to troll through my IMM posts though - I suggest you read them all, and think a bit (well, it would be a bit for anybody else, probably quite a lot for you) and you might just learn something.

And yes, I got the vrs share price wrong - although it does slowly seem to be coming back to where I expected it to be - but I was right about the business and I'm happy enough with that - I'm an investor not a gambler.

supergerbil - yes, I was querying the patent. 2/3rds VRS? Well in that case they should contact the USPO to get it reassigned to them - at the moment it remains where it started, with Ulster University. But I think we'll wait a long time for that won't we? There are still no vrs graphene patents anywhere that I can see - perhaps you can give us a list of those you think they own or control, with numbers, so we can look them up for ourselves? Something else we'll wait a long time for I guess...

ellis - the copper foam never did anything. For a while I tracked the sales through Mouser. Dead. VRS just gave up on it - they said themselves they'd abandoned their patented production process for an industry standard method, and still couldn't get anywhere. So they switched horses and opened another card collector's book, which is now filling up nicely ;¬)

As Advised in 2017 interims, it seems graphene took off and leap frogged the copper foam. A Stategic decision and borne out by progress since eg. Copper foam didn't get neill on the PM's trade trip to china, or gain the secondment of dit/beis high flying civil servants. Or gain neill an invite to the graphene summit on capitol hill in may, or persuade the UoM, UoC, gnanomat to become shareholders of vrs. Or tier 1 members of geic. And when you have the thermal solutions of 2D products such as +nanene and hexotene in play, why spend energy/money on copper foam ? But logically, What the copper foam did provide was a database of clients interested in thermal solutions, and processes which may have added value to current operations. I am thrilled to see 2D materials advance so quickly. Well done neill and co. Waiting patiently here. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis

"...As stated in the last annual report our copper foam still generates some interest with enquiries still being received.  However, our technology focus is on graphene where we feel the most reward lies...."

"...We continue to see significant interest from global OEM's wishing to use and evaluate the benefits of using our graphene powder and ink in their applications.  The results of these collaborations will be known over the coming months, but require the purchase of additional equipment to satisfy just their sample and testing requirements.  In the relatively short time that we have owned 2-DTech we have secured a patented process, scaled production from the laboratory to pilot production and have now secured collaborative interest from a number of large multi-national businesses.  Our focus now, is on ensuring that we support our potential large scale customers in conjunction with the renowned connections we have with both the Universities of Cambridge and Manchester, both of whom are shareholders in both the graphene companies and Versarien...."

Busy again and have not had time to read posts, out and about getting someone back on the road. Some I have on filter.

I have messages re a patent query.

I can explain later if someone can explain who is either mistaken or lying.

Patent is 2/3rds VRS a part of which was picked up through 2Dtech acquisition.

I try and catch up re what that is all about later. That’s if anyone knows what I’m on about if it has come up.

Supernumerary has been negative about VRS forever, and watched the share price rocket from 10p to £1.80. Must be tough when you've found a share that isn't on most people's radar and you decide to sit on the sidelines. At the same time he/she invested in Immupharma and watched the price tank from £1.70 to 11p. It's a cruel market when you don't know what you're doing.

The copper foam thing is a stupid point to make and just shows how lacking the detractors are in credible arguments.

It's like saying Microsoft could never be a global player because they had previously released Xenix.

Thanks 1teepee -

"A recent University of Cambridge spin-out company, Paragraf, has started producing graphene – a sheet of carbon just one atomic layer thick – at up to eight inches (20cm) in diameter, large enough for commercial electronic devices."

"Paragraf is producing graphene ‘wafers’ and graphene-based electronic devices, which could be used in transistors, where graphene-based chips could deliver speeds more than ten times faster than silicon chips; and in chemical and electrical sensors, where graphene could increase sensitivity by a factor of more than 30. The company’s first device will be available in the next few months."

Clint, I think what Neill was confirming, was that all the orders have been profitable and not that the business itself is now profitable for the year as a result of those orders. He would not be allowed to make a forward looking statement like that without an RNS. That said if the results do show a profit, that would be a pleasant surprise given we are still very much in the R&D phase

I think he is saying we make a profit from everything we sell clint rather than we are making an overall profit but based on the last lot of results that's certainly not out of the question.

Not concerned about profit or loss at this stage. I am certain we are making a profit on each order for Nanene or inks. This has been stated previously. We do not give it away.
I am very content and quite happy to wait for news that will drive the share price into multiples of where we are today.
