So the research for me agrees with the recent VRS comments

we are confident that we can make rapid progress this year with the commercialisation of graphene enhanced products both in China and globally with our partners."

Just a case of waiting for time to pass.

On the subject of graphene ultracapacitors take a look at Skeleton Technologies, privately held unfortunately:

Changing topics, we mention Tony Seba from time to time.

He goes on about disruptive technology and the S curve which nowadays is more like a J curve.

EG AT&T asked market experts to forecast mobile phone uptake in the US. AT would then go after that market if the report suggested good uptake.

The experts for the timeframe given came up with 900,000 so AT didn’t go after the sector.

The actual uptake was 109 million.

There are plenty of examples just like it. Each time market ‘experts’; get it massively wrong.

Personally after 6 years of looking at graphene and advanced materials I think it’s going to be huge and become a technology investor hype sector with some companies that will become very big as a result.

At the start I was negative and highly suspicious about graphene. So I put the hours in to find out what works and why so many scientists were excited about it.

At some point I have no doubt that the J curve in the sector will start to reveal itself. Perhaps initiated by Versarien based on the global names due to launch products and companies like Tunghsu who are heavily interested in rapid adoption of graphene in products.

Don’t assume if there a solid looking BOD that things are not amiss.

I suspect most that know me well have no idea I was all over Tyratech behind the scenes. I was asked to have a look, they were appearing on tips TV.

Contrary to news, I found products being withdrawn, major US retail links ending and a trademark challenge in play.

Initially the Chairman and Nomad compliance team were willing to talk to me over issues I raised. However as I started to reveal the lies suddenly they didn’t want to talk anymore.

PIs in (some of them wealthy) were very reasonable on their exhanges but they were reassured by the management team.

Long story short they lost plenty then contacted me asking if I would research companies for them to invest in.

They asked I reseach one that I already knew and didn’t like. That was a few years back. Performance of that company has been poor and no surprise to me.

I declined to help, as they were positive where I’d been there, done that and was negative.

Solid research does pay off. Ignore research at your peril. Tyratech was easy, it only took a few hours to spot the red flags. However some still just wouldn’t pay attention to the facts.

It seems to me the mentality is, if it isn’t out as negative news then it isn’t a fact.

Investors stay in denial even when things like court documents or scientific data of actual testing unreported is shown are posted with the link.

Hence I get flippant because for some, no amount of real evidence publicly available will convince many that they are being conned.

What goes on in investors minds to ignore such facts suggesting fatal blows are coming, defeats me.

Initial target was £2.9m

Followed by - "The Company is delighted to announce that it has successfully closed the Offer and has raised gross proceeds of £5,154,595 at 145p per ordinary share.

The Offer received a very strong response and was well supported by investors. Despite the Company electing to increase the issuance size to accommodate the level of demand, the Offer remained significantly oversubscribed and closed early."

Very sensible for VRS to raise additional capital at that price, as I expect they were becoming increasingly aware of the time lag between their graphene products being trialled and the receipt of sizeable orders. IP protection has presumably been another brake on developments. The requirement for a decent profit margin is of course another consideration.

(I am not currently a holder, having bailed out when the share price started to topple around 170p. I am however keeping an eye on developments.)

Morning Superg1.

Another great video from WG / GoldInvest.DE that was released this morning.

A few key points from the Interview,

GEIC operational with the a month, FGR & VRS will be rubbing shoulders with Airbus, Rolls Royce and BAE systems

REACH – currently apply for 100tpa, as you know they already have approval for 10t
NICNAS – expected the approval prior to 1st May, No Graphene sales can occur in AUS without this approval. (only max 6 weeks away)

Collabs / MOU - FGR are moving on from these and are talking about real sales.

Mining – newGen Group.

Bluesteel – Soles, steel caps – 10% reduction of weight by adding Graphene,

Fibre Glass – Swimming poles, boats or roofing – next month or two FGR expect to give results. I suspect these deals are awaiting the NICNAS approval.

Sales 2019

Customers ready to buy, awaiting for the regulatory approval.
By the end of 2019 FGR expect to be break even = 18 tpa Graphene Sales

Graphene Oxide - gGo – VFD is now seeing in excess of 40-50% oxidation, which is a significant improvement to previous FGR announcement Dec 2017 that achieved 23% oxygen.
Subject to successfully scaling of VFD, WG seems pretty excited by this development.

Not part of the interview, Dr Vimalanathan will be at GEIC during March to commission the VFD at the UoM.

Possible new production facility 2020.

FGR can see in excess of 20 tpa just out of Henderson by the end of this year.
Currently in talks with European and UK companies where FGR expect this volume could be 10-20x larger = 200-400 tpa.

Why is VRS looking at operations in China when these European companies are already at your back door?

FGR is about to start to market themselves through Foster Stock Broking, WG admits they need to lift their game with promotion,

WG made comments about the shareholders who have left because of mining, It would appear they might be buying back in, if FGR are expecting to sell 200-400tpa in the UK / European market alone 2020-21, with only 500t of Graphite sitting in Henderson, FGR's graphite mines might be coming back online much sooner than I expected.

It’s a shame that the Government spent $50 billion rolling out NBN and we still have buffering issues.

Source - VFD's previous 23% oxidation of Green Graphene Oxide

Enjoy the video. I certainly did, this is the first time I have seen WG with that much confidence, Very bold claim that FGR will be the first Graphene company that will be cash flow positive.

So as I have kept saying on advfn for many years.

If you spot lies by a company, don’t ignore it. If you are in it get out, if you are looking to invest, then don’t.

Share prices can go on a great run if there are enough believing the lies, but the lies and others deceit will out eventually and destroy investor wealth.

EG right here, right in front of PI’s. It’s called Haydale. Bits of lies here and there failure to report negatives. All warned about, that when you spot lies expect others to be hidden.

I believe there were a number here invested in Haydale, and the ‘debates’; that went on caused many of them to sell long ago.

No share ever where I’ve spotted lies has become a viable business or done well.

This is worth a read re what can go on in the world of smallcap companies.

It’s one I noted along the way in research.

Details in here involve directors of American graphite technologies. A company that jumped on the graphene hype and graphite hype.

They had a game changer, graphene paper.

Here is the guy that was behind it.

A Canadian citizen, Richard Wesley Walchuk, who swindled more than 8 million dollars in six months from dozens of investors in Canada and the USA was arrested in Palaio Faliro, near Athens.

Using the “pump and dump” method and by bribing stock dealers, the 58 year old managed to score a massive amount between March and October 2008, in Pennsylvania. He was wanted by US authorities on international arrest warrant.

Richard Wesley Walchuk, is seen as the ring leader of a criminal organization and is implicated in exchange and securities fraud by the SEC.

Morning Billwave

Gnanomat have a their own Graphene process that they have a patent on.

I am yet to see any significant development with their super capacitors, the GNA1 capacitor had a high capacitance, although it retention was only 50% (time wasn't specified)

The price that VRS paid for Gnanomat, NR tweeted they needed to raise 2.9mil, I believe this is misleading as majority of the purchase was in shares, the RNS announcement stated the following.

"to be settled by £673,000 in cash, from the Company's existing resources, by way of GNA issuing new shares in GNA to Versarien, and the issue of 1,316,278 new ordinary shares"

VRS was also to provide a loan to Gnanomat for €1,250,000

I am not sure why Versarien raised £5.15 Mil when the total cost to Versarien was £673,000 in cash and a loan for £1.1mil = £1.74 mil

Dangerous thought process. They'll claim things ahead of the future. But if they're right? Maybe they're proving them under NDA?

Graphite bot, thanks, I have also been down that road. Of course any answers given are biased within the rules so I was hoping for more input from a wider audience.

I have also recieved private messages containing some interesting information and intelligent opinion in response to my queries. It is a great shame that free speech has been curbed by SG1 on the popular thread in favour of positive views only. It is no longer a discussion board so much as a fan club.

Regards.
