Tim, thank you for your civil response. My suggestion was an effort to prove to you my agenda here, which is to hopefully remain invested and make money in the process. Having worked as hard as anyone to earn my cash I share your concerns regarding underhanded tactics used by a few, if you were to read back far enough through my posts I'm sure you'd find responses targeting and invalidating the efforts of such people.

I strive to have as much confidence in my investment as possible. This can only be done by alleviating any small niggles and doubts by research and presenting questions to persons that are more knowledgeable than myself on the subject.

The dictatorship lead by SG1 which removes the possibility of achieving a true, fair and unbiased overall view is in my opinion silly and not at all constructive.

I still have a couple of questions that remain outstanding should anyone wish to take them up.

The Startups Alcobendas accelerator launches the first edition of Startups Alcobendas Summit, an event to give value to startups that have gone through the six phases of acceleration and share experiences.

Startups Alcobendas , accelerator promoted by the City of Alcobendas, organizes the first edition of its Startups Alcobendas Summit. The event, which will gather more than 100 people, including startups, journalists and investors, will be held next Monday , March 25 at the Art Center of Alcobendas, from 5:00 pm, with an institutional inauguration.

Next, a first round table will be organized, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will revolve around the collaboration of public administrations with startups. Foundspot , Emobility , Showleap and Kyperion will take part in this table, which will be moderated by journalist Luis Miguel Belda.

In a second round table, different participating teams will participate in the acceleration phases of Startups Alcobendas that have been success stories within the entrepreneurial world, both for their idea and for their investment or billing rounds. The participating startups will be: Jobin , Biohope , Fellow Funders , Gnanomat and Doozymove .

Between the two round tables a Coffee Break and networking session will be held during which vocal coach, entrepreneur and vocal expert Noemi Carrion , who will be in charge of livening up the equator of the day, will participate.

With this event, Startups Alcobendas Summit aims to bring together all startups that have gone through the six acceleration phases of Startups Alcobendas and share experiences and knowledge, success stories, process failures, investment, etc. Admission is free.

The difference is that there are now working prototypes of the batteries with Graphene-Lithium nano technology. The Bike Europe expert, who for now wants to remain anonymous, informs that there’s now “One manufacturer that is a lot further with the Graphene-Lithium nano technology. Samples are already available for individual testing.”

Editors at Nature may have also considered convening a special section of their journal this week to accommodate the flash flood of announcements reporting evidence of a new kind of quantum optical behaviour in similar twist-tunable stacks of other types of 2D materials."We were actually surprised that we didn't see the effects sooner," says Xiaodong Xu, principle investigator at the Nanoscale Optoelectronics Laboratory at the University of Washington in the US, and a corresponding author on one of this week's papers. No fewer than three papers reported experimental results indicating the presence of interlayer excitons trapped in the periodically dappled moiré potential field that results when two atomically thick layers of transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDs) are misaligned. Yet while Xu suggests the discoveries were in some ways due, he highlights how specific the conditions for observing interlayer trapped moiré excitons are, which may explain why they have only just been observed."It turns out the moiré effects can be obscured somewhat by an imperfect moiré pattern, which will lead to light emission similar to defects, and excess laser excitation power, which will provide a broad background," Xu tells Physics World. "In fact, we have seen effects of moiré excitons several years back, but we just did not know what we were looking at and what the evidence for moiré excitons should be. Once we started to excite the system with lower laser power and perform magneto-optical spectroscopy of samples with different twist angles, we began to realize that moiré-trapped excitons have been there all the time!"The results highlight the "feasibility of engineering artificial excitonic crystals using van der Waals heterostructures for nanophotonics and quantum information applications" as Fengcheng Wu at Argonne National Laboratory, Xiaoqin Li at the University of Texas at Austin and their colleagues propose in their report. In addition the work has fundamental significance, providing "an attractive platform from which to explore and control excited states of matter, such as topological excitons and a correlated exciton Hubbard model, in transition metal dichalcogenides," according to the report by Feng Wang at the University of California, Berkeley, and co-authors.

1teepee - I don't believe filtering and banning to be the way forward. As I've said, like it or not, listening to everyone is the best way to try and obtain a true unbiased view.


Tim - so now we have established that we are playing with both of our pots of money here, we can perhaps try and be more constructive, by airing and answering questions and concerns? Perhaps if I were to PM you a snapshot of my holding here you may appreciate why I'd very much welcome positive responses to any concerns I have?
