Some big dumping going on - are we nearly at an end of the Miton stock????? Three weeks until the end of the tax year so I would seriously hope so!

Absolutely agree re patience billwave.

As Prof Sir Kostya Novoselov says "we need to ensure we are helping companies and industry to introduce this material into real products, and that is actually much more difficult, not least because of the fact that this has not been done at this scale before, and so nobody knows how to do it yet". However, as the Professor goes on to say "It is not necessarily funding that is a problem in in Europe; the challenge comes more in the form of bringing together scientists, entrepreneurs, and funders in the same room, and it is still not clear how to achieve that"
Arguably, no-one is coming closer to matching the pre-requisites for achieving commercial scale production than Versarien

Lots of excitement being voiced from the regulars but wider market sentiment is showing itself in the share price it appears. Story is the same, an RNS indicative of a step in the right direction but announcements involving revenue generation are required to give confidence to investors. Patience it seems is still the key. IMHO

Roscoe always do your own research as no one here cares whether you win or lose we only care about our own investment. There are however a good deal of quality posts by some people with better knowledge than me that allow you to make your own mind up. IF you read about something from someone who tells you this is a bad company or bad that etc ask yourself a simple question. Why?Why would anyone spend time to attack a share they have no interest or value in and do lots of research in?Personally if I am not interested in a share I move on to one I do. I haven't time to waste a vendetta to follow or a grudge to bear.Don't believe the rampers either just do what's right for you. We all want to make money and by the time you read someone else's post they have already taken position.Don't believe the derampers as they state they don't hold or aren't interested in the company but spend a ridiculous amount of time researching and telling others their thoughts. The reason is they are short and they will lose money if it goes the other way. Then at a time they choose they stop for a while as they have used their "winnings" to buy in and either ramp or go quiet watching the share rise. Then they take their money out and become vocal and deramp.Make your own decisionsFYI I am really into this share I have my own position and I see the longer term future and where I think this share will be. I will be topping up my ISA with the full allowance as I have the last 3 years too I know nooothing

And this from Stocko the first part in the header above sums up quite nicely where i'm at.

'ADVFN - There are some really good ADVFN posters who are long term investors in VRS, have attended shareholder open days / AGMs and have excellent insights and research that they share especially Superg1, bones, Atoxyl, compounup & severnof9 who have informed a lot of my own research and I have shamelessly copied so of their insights. Obviously, you have to wade through a load of rampers, derampers and nutters that seem to frequent ADVFN but hopefully we can get a decent level of discussion and sharing of insights going on Stockopedia instead.

Roscoep,

Cons: currently high valuation based on historical metrics, too much PR and too many unnecessary RNS's (my personal opinion), significant investments for scale-up will likely be required soon if demand truly takes off (but will probably come from partners funding), early days means high risk to fail if becoming complacent and if better/cheaper materials/processes appear, delays could mean longer timeline than expected.

Pros: enough cash, low cash burn, no debt, multiple MOUs/LOIs, JVs in pipeline, growing revenues, costs of graphene research and production offset from legacy business revenues, clear international strategy, very enthusiastic CEO who genuinly seem to want to leave a mark, already testing products with some of the biggest companies in the world, high quality products, multiple products, multiple sectors, multiple countries, vertical integration, potentially very high margins, support from government DIT, little credible competition, very high growth sector, future many multi billion $ industry, potentially currently at the very start of serious volume use of graphene (GNPs).

This is what I believe to be a fairly comprehensive and fairly objective summary with a pinch of personal opinion.

Indeed, I think the level of detail in this loi grabs give confidence to the degree of intent both parties hold. And that it is on an equal footing - 3 reps each side. Thus, if this loi develops to a jv and strategic investment, we can see both parties carry an equal weight in arriving at such a conclusion. Ie intent likely develops into win/win for both parties, a mutually agreeable outcome. Matt walker tweeted in august china opps proceed on a 'zero risk basis' which i believe this loi conforms to. Looking forward to the poddy :) Each to their own. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis
