08/3/2019 06:22 | I'm not sure patents are everything, does Coca cola have a patent on their exact recipe. Any way strange to raise this now looking at your previous posts, I would have thought this was the first question to ask. I seem to remember the shorters spent a bit of time on twitter chasing NR over patents about a year ago, perhaps the answer is there. | ![]() 772

08/3/2019 02:19 | A question to the sages, relating to the patent holdings of Versarien. Versarien does not appear to hold patents on graphene. I assume, however, that Versarien has a licence (exclusive or not) on the patent EP2681155 from the University of Ulster. This patent has been filed in the EU, PCT WIPO system, China and the USA. Only the US Patent has been granted. The patent applications in Europe, WIPO and China have not been granted. Does anyone know why the patent has not been granted in Europe? Reference: www.epo.org & search for EP2681155 As a shareholder in VRS I would really appreciate an answer from a 'reliable source'. | ![]() 500kv
07/3/2019 23:11 | I have re read Mike Brenners Stockopedia posts tonight. The whole lot.I needed that refresher, because as weeks and months go by one tends to lose sight of the facts. For his first attempt at an article on that site, its actually a stunning piece. | ![]() festario
07/3/2019 23:06 | Whiteslice, been out all evening, so belated, but as I made rather a point about feedback here earlier, I'd like to add my personal thanks for your report. Passing on Neill's concern about debates here on matters best kept under wraps until due time was especially valuable. Many of us have found Neill highly responsive in giving guidance before posting. The intensive and skilled scrutiny VRS gets is understandable given how many have invested heavily based essentially on trust. Neill made the point explicitly in his recent IG interview that he tries to give the maximum visibility he can in return for that trust and, until the substantial foundations start to demonstrate financial rewards, we really need some flow of information on progress - which the research here provides. It must be a very fine and tricky balance for him, and hopefully those of goodwill will support him in that. (Sorry if that sounds like lecturing!) Thanks too to those who have supported and elaborated my earlier thought about the potentially negative effect on all investors of any restriction of (acceptable) information flow to a subgroup. | ![]() hew
07/3/2019 23:04 | Good Evening SuperG1 Can you please not misquote me, I said "I think you are mistaken, Not that you were wrong". Would you be able to provide the link to the FGR's "MANAGEMENT ROAD Investor" Regarding Warwick's comment “FGR is the only company able to provide the polymer and composites markets with bulk quantities of graphene material.” When you think about it he is probably correct. FGR are 1 of only 4 companies that have REACH approval to sell between 1-10t of Graphene in Europe / UK, FGR is the only company to apply for AUS NICNAS approval, No Graphene can be sold unless you have this approval(except R&D upto 100kg pa) FGR have started the process to secure EPA approval in the USA. FGR also have a 100tpa FLG production facility, what do you consider a commercial production ? BTW congratulations VRS on another MOU, It would appear that the market no longer cares about the long list of MOU's that are stacking up. Everyone is looking for sales. Hopefully NR can move one of the previous MOU's into a Letter of Intent or Sales agreement. | ![]() spid81
07/3/2019 22:50 | It sounds as though the meeting was positive and it is a pity that there was an issue with one piece of news that was found by a PI. I don’t think there has been any long term damage. We would all like to know what is really going on, personally with Nanene soon to be ISO compliant, I hope Neill and the team are playing hardball, particularly with the Chinese. I believe that will be the case. I feel confident that as deals appear the share price will look after itself and trust the team are focused on the road ahead. | ![]() rogerbridge

07/3/2019 22:14 | I want to second rheumking’s comments. The positive contributions from the informed LTHs are the bulwarks that defend the share price from the lies and misinformation of the trolls and collectively define the culture of the VRS family. Withdraw this valuable dialogue from public view and the prospects from outside the inner sanctum become bleak. | ![]() evergreen8
07/3/2019 22:12 | ... "One point I will make is that Neill confirmed that some of the information which became public knowledge almost by accident (although already out there - granted) and devoured and debated at great length here and no doubt elsewhere has had a detrimental effect to project progression (delays) and could so easily have damaged client relationships." ... I totally understand that concern. I just wish Neill would recognize that his own nudge/wink hints and clues playfully presented from time to time (photographs of himself in certain settings for example) have contributed to this "guess where I am" culture that leads posters to do just that and to dig and delve for answers which might include some that he might prefer we hadn't found. | ![]() grabster
07/3/2019 21:52 | Hew I have to say an excellent point well made. The rise in the share price is going to be driven mainly by new investors and in VRS that means primarily PI. A lot of people coming fresh to the company will look on the BB before investing if they are new to the whole area of graphene companies. If the wise heads of the BB are secluded in a private discussion group in whatever forum then we don't have the benefit of their research and steadying influence on the share price As most LTH are already maxed out on their holdings we will not be enough to sustain any rise in the share price and that supply of new investors will be cut off. I understand the reasons for retreating to a discussion group free of the trolls but that doesn't have to mean withdrawing from posting on the board from time to time. It will be to the detriment of all the LTH of this company if we are deprived of the knowledge of the most informed investors in an open forum (and most of us are a pretty decent bunch but just don't have time to do hours of research!) | rheumking

07/3/2019 21:17 | Dear All - after spitting my dummy out two or three weeks ago about announcing events on twitter that I don't particularly follow, and following an email to Neill about an unrelated matter that he was good enough to answer, I found myself filling a seat at the lunch today due to a cancellation. The lunch was a relatively informal affair with a short presentation by Neill which was quickly interrupted and sidetracked by many and varied questions - which were encouraged, to give all attending the opportunity to seek (re)assurance given recent share price turbulence and in my case to hear the case for the business straight from the horses mouth for the first time. I didn't take notes so won't be giving a chapter and verse report but I was greatly encouraged by what Neill & Chris had to say and VRS will remain a key element of my investment portfolio for the foreseeable. One point I will make is that Neill confirmed that some of the information which became public knowledge almost by accident (although already out there - granted) and devoured and debated at great length here and no doubt elsewhere has had a detrimental effect to project progression (delays) and could so easily have damaged client relationships. From one ordinary p.i to all others, please think before you post, it may not be in your own best interest - never mind mine :-) to shout your news from the rooftops - maybe check first..? Good to meet one or two of you today. Look forward to meeting others in the future. Best to All. ws. | ![]() whiteslice
