05/12/2018 14:23 | I don't normally respond to Log, but in a recent post he said:----------- "@schmally who said anything about VRS or the Chinese not taking the MoU seriously? Why wouldn't they?" But in his earlier post he said---------- "As I've said before its really not that hard to get a Chinese company to sign up to an MoU if you dangle a few carrots in front of them. All VRS have to say is that they'll work together and share IP and have connections to Manchester Uni and GEIC. It costs nothing for them to do so". What a ridiculous an ill informed statement. In addition to legal costs and resource costs, there are significant potential liabilities to factor in. You can't just walk away from an MoU in China. If both parties signed, then both parties are serious and will have every intention of progressing to a final significant deal. He can spin it how he likes, but he's shown himself to be a disingenuous bell*nd Sorry, last engagement from me | schmally
05/12/2018 14:21 | Dear dear, bit of scaremongering going on here, the move downwards is 1 standard deviation below the 20 day moving average, it should also test the top end which will be 1.29. There is no reason for the drop other than a bit of manipulation , step in Berenberg. | ![]() luckyorange
05/12/2018 14:17 | "people showing there true colours" You mean trying to find the best moment to buy some more instead of blindly plonking some hard earned cash on the table. Some seem to have lost sight of the fact that we are presumably here to make money not give it away. | ![]() pshevlin
05/12/2018 14:13 | Up over the following day if the chart on google finance is accurate and then it tailed down over the following weeks from around 137 to 119 before heading up convincingly through August and into September. | ![]() tini5

05/12/2018 14:11 | A man walks into a crowded bar and shouts out at the top of his voice 'Anyone know what Graphene is?'He gets no response. And there lies our problem! All the LTH that know about Graphene and live and breath the VRS story are fully loaded already. You can tell how many people know about the business by the number of daily trades - a whole 106 so far today, on a day when fantastic news was released. Yes, we might see some increase in share price when RNS's with numbers start appearing but I suspect it will still take some time for the Share price to get up to where most of us would lie to see it.Sorry to say it, and I know a lot of you aren't keen, but we need II buyers to get the price moving upwards and those will be limited whilst no revenues reported and we remain on AIM. Hopefully the former will be resolved shortly, and the latter in a couple of years. | ![]() cheek212
05/12/2018 14:10 | well you just might get a nice surprise re results...we will see | ![]() jointer13
05/12/2018 14:09 | PShevlin, correct, how stupid of me.Last set of results caused a temporary but massive fall from approx 128p to 100p, and it's that type of reaction I expect tomorrow, albeit it we are now looking at 90p possibly because amazingly we are at a lower level than we were back then! | ![]() festario
05/12/2018 14:08 | Was going to add more but it can’t break above 130p, so added more (SFOR) instead, I have more faith in Sir Marin Sorrell’s new outfit delivering that NR at present! I will keep my stake here but this needs some solid news to break 130p stubborn resistance! | ![]() ny boy
05/12/2018 14:07 | Anybody remember where the share price went on the last set of figures? | ![]() pshevlin
05/12/2018 14:07 | Taffy, never shorted anything in my life.I believe there's a difference between shorting and merely being disappointed with my investment.Just to be clear, I'm disappointed with how I have managed my investment, not disappointed with Versarien. There is much I could have done to mitigate this, and in truth I probably still could. | ![]() festario
05/12/2018 14:06 | You must have hindsight Fest...It's foresight you (and most of us) are lacking. | ![]() pshevlin

05/12/2018 14:02 | t/over = turnover NOT takeover. What are people expecting? | ![]() ff2345
05/12/2018 14:02 | Best price to sell 20k shares is a paltry 111p now.In hindsight, which I don't have, I should have dumped approx 250k shares yesterday and today, and kept the cash pile for tomorrow. That's the only feasible way I can increase my shareholding and benefit from this terrible period. | ![]() festario
05/12/2018 14:01 | Still, every bit of good news that doesn't move the share price makes the company a more attractive takeover target. If Ricketts can't or won't unlock the value in VRS someone else can and will. | club sandwich
05/12/2018 14:00 | "a well respected and truely well thought of man in all circles" except IIs, fund managers and, increasingly, private PIs, apparently... | club sandwich
05/12/2018 13:59 | don't listen to the blx and lies spouted on here. vrs in a fantastic place at this moment. what company would'nt give there right arm to be in the same position as vrs. | ![]() jointer13
05/12/2018 13:59 | Ff2345Any talk of a take over is ludicrous, it's not behaving like any share that's ever been the subject of a takeover, and it would be voted down in any instance. However, at a standard takeover premium, the price would be approximately 135p at best. | ![]() festario
05/12/2018 13:58 | 'neill rickets...a well respected and truely well thought of man in all circles.' But not respected enough to spell his name correctly! Research would tell you it's two t's! | potsol
05/12/2018 13:56 | fest your a bit out of order there... re talking share price down, not surprised though. | ![]() jointer13 |
