VRS' graphene shop is clearly the one to be associated with if you are anybody - full of global customers / partners with more queuing outside. The tills are at the ready :)

"Lol It's all happening via our backdoor"

I don't know what's happening via *your* backdoor - but personally I don't care how it happens, I just have one simple question: WHERE'S THE MONEY?

@axotyl well you have to admit you do get excited over nothing don't you? The news today was clearly marked as a non-regulatory RNS which means it's not material.

The NOMAD is clearly tell you all that they've seen the MoU and they don't think it is material enough to warrant an RNS.

As I've said before its really not that hard to get a Chinese company to sign up to an MoU if you dangle a few carrots in front of them. All VRS have to say is that they'll work together and share IP and have connections to Manchester Uni and GEIC. It costs nothing for them to do so.

I have a feeling that results tomorrow will not be that great. Another 6 months of no material graphene sales awaits I suppose.

You can all huff and puff about how VRS are building foundations but this is quite different to the story you were told back in January. Neill quite clearly gave guidance in a podcast that he expected China production to be up and running by mid 2018.

Oh and the market clearly agrees with me since the news today has barely moved the needle.

"these details are all well in hand and firmly within the managements control"

well, whatever else they are the VRS team are not stupid, so yes of course they've considered everything you and I have thought of, and I'm sure much else besides.

which brings us back to: where are the orders? ;-)

maybe it's the machine negotiations that are causing the delay in orders?

Indeed this latest rns more evidence of neill and co delivering upon a strategy. Neill tweeted other day, 'never been happier.' Wonder what the next 12 mos look like to him ? Optimistic here. Imo. Best ellis

Log's continual comment about us puppies getting excited (and there'll be plenty more) conjures up an image of a slavering incontinent Rottweiler poking its head ineffectively through the fence....

Fest

CSSG is odd and no volume at all.

I’ll look but I think revenue has doubled to over £30 mill.

Thecteam just get on with their thing and collect their salaries. Not lifestyle just a solid business.

Edit

Yep £35 mill revenue, £1.6 mill profit, MC £14.5 mill.

unloved and shares so tight you can’t get any in numbers.

billwave - which is more or less exactly what NR said back in March at the investors day. We are building something akin to a franchise model where manufacturing units are rolled out globally funded by customers.

lovat scout - yes, the value added via polygrene is an exciting addition, think Victrex.

Superg1 - 0-120 in 2.5sec, bring it on.

CS, I think it is very important to remember that as mere investors we are not privy to all of the finer details. I feel assured from what I have researched, and all of the reported progress being made to date, that these details are all well in hand and firmly within the managements control. I believe that progress could not be made at the rate it is without all of the points you raise having been previously and successfully addressed. Hopefully some light will be shed on all of these key points in due course. Regards.

Superg1, Sopheon is another of my long-term stocks. As you say, you have to hold/accumulate when the market is oblivious to a stock, because sooner or later the herd will arrive. VRS is very much in the background at the moment, but that won't be the case forever.

billwave - I personally don't care whether it's direct supply or a client manufacturing under license - but so far there aren't ANY deals of either kind.

But you touch on the point I've made many times - when/if the orders DO come through, what's the strategy to supply them? Where's this 2-year exclusivity contract with the machine manufacturer? I've said before and I'll say it again - I think that point is absolutely key. Until VRS has a guarantee of supply - at a guaranteed price - for the machines vital to the process, I can't see anyone placing an order for anything...

Fitzy ..... what has paying tax got to do or stop you opening a ISA? If you are a Brit and can use a home address I would crack on !!!! Savings could be massive ;-)
