You do make me laugh. You'd all completely wet yourselves if VRS brought in a 2T order.

VRS are miles behind. You're just kidding yourselves.

--------

VRS would get torn apart for this type of RNS,

Still busy but I’ll be busy banning in an hour or two.

Simple rules and longer bans in play. The decent guys get fed up of reading the trash.

So bans shortly if you engage on this thread. Plenty of threads to engage them on. Re FGR I see some say there is a thread on hot copper so go there imo.

VRS would get torn apart for this type of RNS, personally I think it’s good to see some disclosure, however, it comes as no surprise as they are looking to raise money and attempt to fluff up the share price.

Sorry Lovat but you are at it again:FGR may have set themselves up for a fall here if the buyer doesn’t win any tenders.

IMO anyone putting money into FGR needs to have a lot of spare cash. Why dont they raise the money in Australia or are people over there suspicious of the company and its officers?

Philbstar - of course VRS need to convert potential into sales.

My badly made point is that the FGR announcement is (IMHO) a contingent sale rather than a guaranteed delivery. Maybe VRS could do the same but it doesn’t really serve a purpose as it’s a free option for the buyer.

Maybe I’m being too suspicious but FGR may have set themselves up for a fall here if the buyer doesn’t win any tenders.

If FGR is to successfully raise funds on AIM it will need to demonstrate that this purchase order has started converting into actual sales. A Neville Chamberlain paper wave doesn’t work any more! You must see the irony it that comment

Jointer - as you say each 2D materials company will be doing its own thing and if FGR have a successful product then the whole industry could benefit.

I see FGR have a purchase order rather than an outright sale as the delivery is contingent on the buyer winning tenders. This makes sense as contingent purchase orders set out the parameters for delivery. In effect it’s an indication of the buyer’s interest should all the demand materialise.

If FGR is to successfully raise funds from IIs on AIM it will need to demonstrate that this purchase order has started converting into actual sales. A Neville Chamberlain paper wave doesn’t work any more!

As I said earlier, whatever the quality of FGR’s 2D product doesn’t bother me at all. If they are successful fulfilling this order they may end up doing the whole 2D industry a favour.

FGR news great for mining industry I guess but it's hardly moved their share price much. +1 cent? Not exactly shaking the earth there but well done.

VRS share price will arch way up from where it is now when the karma train departs from the station. The dots are out there, all you have to do is join them.

we know what quality we have and where we are heading, and that's all that matters.

The concrete when mixed has what effectively looks like microscopic "eggs" in it. These if damaged ie through the concrete cracking have the ability to heal the concrete so that within a two week period the crack has gone and the area has healed itself and is back to full strength.I'm sure it'll be replayed around 0900hrs on the next main bulletin. With the recent talk ref concrete and nanene use it sort of clicks together in my mind.... I could be wrong though as I'm no scientist :-/

and had it been anything to do with VRS, SG would probably have been giving it the nudge, nudge, wink, wink treatment a few days before

I’m told they bought another 200k yesterday, so we know where some of PI sells went.

Re FRG: yes, good news for the graphene industry but 'real commercial validation of their model' - an unused mine and under utilsed 100 tpa capacity.....please :)

I saw the BBC article and wondered that instead of self healing cracks, maybe they could just make it stronger so that it does not crack. We know what could make it stronger :)

If VRS had anything to do with that BBC article, NR would already have been on twitter to tell everyone about it

No comparison. FGR sell at multi ton level (after today). Their product is $150/kg. Has better lateral size and surface area and lower density. Above all they are £25m market cap.

They don't have Mr. Ricketts on Twitter all day though.

BBC breakfast news just showed an article on self healing concrete. University of Cambridge are developing it, it can heal itself in 2 weeks. I wonder if VRS have any input into that?

That is great news and investors in all AIM listed graphene related companies should welcome this announcement

It is fantastic news for FGR. It provides real commercial validation of their model and it should give a real boost to the their profile leading up to the forthcoming listing on AIM

Looks like the GEIC will have £60m in funding when it launches.https://www.graphene.manchester.ac.uk/about/geic/Let's hope it quickly leads to some positive material developments for VRS (pun intended)...
