27/11/2018 13:22 | I see Haydale are having a good day following their news Shares in Haydale Graphene Industries PLC (LON:HAYD) surged in mid-morning Tuesday after the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) at the University of Manchester joined a collaboration to develop a graphene-enhanced failsafe locking solution. The graphene products group said that the GEIC would join its collaboration with Wheelsure Holdings PLC (NEX:WHLP), originally set up in February, to develop a product which paired its graphene sensor technology with Wheelsure's failsafe locking solution. The sensor would be developed by applications engineers at the GEIC, with the product to be showcased at the official opening of the GEIC in December. David Banks, interim chief executive at Haydale, said: "We are pleased that this collaboration is developing and welcome the inclusion of Manchester's GEIC. We are looking forward to developing this innovative product, ensuring its successful pathway to commercialisation." Shares were up 23.6% at 44.5p. | nemo19
27/11/2018 13:18 | It is only the shorting brigade helping each other. They sell high and close low... | ![]() fuji99
27/11/2018 13:16 | Tim - Nothing has changed except VRS signed more deals than ever before, some of them with great companies. These will mature at their own pace. It is just the shorting brigade doing its bit as they want to hurry up to close before any news arrives as they are holding on a tight rope. Once they close then they re-load themselves for the next leg up. You know shorting is transient gambling, not a medium/long term investing, just like a thief taking your wallet in a few seconds. | ![]() fuji99
27/11/2018 13:15 | Just getting traded up and down in the same range for now. | ![]() dolores123
27/11/2018 13:11 | if people have invested in VRS for profitable interims then it is best that they do not stick around. My reason for investing in VRS is in anticipation of VRS becoming the world leader in grapheme (nanene) and that graphene will become the new industrial revolution. On both counts I believe that I have made the right call. Others may disagree, that is their prerogative. Worrying or getting excited about whether the price is up or down 10-15p is an emotional call which is understandable but irrational if one invests in VRS in particular. | ![]() phoenixs
27/11/2018 13:08 | small buy at 116.6 was mine | mryl
27/11/2018 13:08 | I've just bought another £15k in my SIPP and the price dropped! All this buying and the price still dropping. Some late sells must be due! | ![]() cheek212
27/11/2018 12:54 | Absolutely flat coat, no one likes being underwater on a share, including my wife who invested here at 1.70! I totally understand people holding off buying until they get further updates but my point was that this doesn’t all come down to the next results. Don’t forget when it was 10-12p there were no major collaborations or talk of China expansion. I personally invested back then following my own research on the potential of the company, the potential of graphene in general and the drive and determination of Neill Ricketts. Good luck anyway, I don’t think you’ll need it though :-) | ![]() tim3416
27/11/2018 12:52 | a big head and shoulders from May could still be forming. £££ | ![]() davemac3
27/11/2018 12:50 | The 25k trades in the buy column are actually SELLS! If you work out when the trade was done they are late reported SELLS! Somebody is offloading bigtime. Let's hope they don't know more than us.(And please stop saying why is it going down when there are more buys than sells). The trading on here is as obscure as I have ever seen it and that does not fill me with confidence. As I said earlier we need some substantial NEWS if those people who keep boasting about topping up at such "low levels" don't just keep watching their investments slipping away.I've seen this too many times to feel happy no matter what thye future prospects may be. | ![]() pshevlin
27/11/2018 12:41 | Neill's been quiet on Twitter this week, must be busy with something. | foolishben
27/11/2018 12:34 | squire, at first glance, nowhere it seems last news was March 2016, website looks dead. This is a subsidiary of BGT, website looks better but last news was May 2016. The 2 discoverers of graphene are on the BoD of Graphene Security. However, a bit more research takes you to Baijieteng Technology Corporation, a joint venture invested by Graphene Security Limited and Nanjing Xingzhi Technology Industrial Development Co., Ltd. | mryl
27/11/2018 12:30 | Tim. The problem is for every lucky investor like you there will be 2 or 3 who bought into vrs after it hit £1 in January. I include myself in this group of investors who are now underwater, and so view the results before making any further investment. After all the results in August were up to march and so didn't include much of the collaborations. Since August the 1T machine has been running at capacity of up to 20Kg/wk. This was one of the reasons given for the 3T machine for the continued support of the coloborations. Considering none of the graphene is given away I would expect to see an increase in turnover to support this. | ![]() flatcoat1

27/11/2018 12:18 | Good video (except annoying background music) on various applications of graphene, quite a bit of work has gone into it. | mryl
