09/11/2018 09:09 | Strange how the shorts with all of the information they have do not mention the seller, it is obfuscation focussing on everything else and anything to scare out PI's, but above all Primary Bid is a gift to them . | ![]() luckyorange

09/11/2018 09:08 | @owenga the bulls like @SuperG have been trying to spin all sorts of stories about forced buyers having to cover after being turned down in the PB raise. Now they are saying there are spiv flippers driving down the price. None of it makes sense as you say. They'd sell at a loss here and where are all these forced buyers? The reality here is that the sellers are folk who realise how grossly overvalued VRS is relative to its peer group. The Twitter multiple* is 9x which is silly. Log * Twitter multiple defined as how many times higher VRS market cap is than the average of a basket of its peer group. -------------------- LO. Then surely this primary bid spiv, must be selling at a loss given he paid 145p for them? | ![]() loglorry1

09/11/2018 08:59 | Pretty sure they don’t know anything Fest, other than how to manipulate the market for small cap, blue sky shares. | foolishben
09/11/2018 08:51 | I can't see HAYD is remotely close to the top of the shopping list. Something like a stake in ZapGo is more likely but probably not needed as VRS have minority stake in a key component. | ![]() chillpill
09/11/2018 08:50 | I agree completely spike. They saw them off. Thus if you don't feel the need to engage as much, it could be a sign of uber confidence, because of what you know is ahead ? Just speculating. I'm supportive of vrs team on twitter, just thought that change of behaviour interesting. Aimo. Atb. Ellis | ellissj
09/11/2018 08:50 | Supply I've posted a bit on that, it's not Will, I see someone mentioned him. I posted about that before. As far as I'm aware Miton had about 2.7 mill and haven't been actively selling. Herald 'fed the ducks' on the highs and went to under 800k. There will have been some panicking PIs when the market was poor, but the supply that did the damage won't be around too long and hopefully will be gone this month, if not already. | ![]() superg1
09/11/2018 08:50 | SuperG, this situation and the things you alluded to are more important than your DIY, I'll warrant. You are losing or winning many multiples of the value of your kitchen on a daily basis. | ![]() festario
09/11/2018 08:48 | PB is a good idea but has an image problem due to the ownership structure and the majority of companies that use it are desperate and probably in a state where most IIs can’t get involved. A PB that was owned by the stock exchange and genuinely open to all IIs and PIs would be perfect, but the IIs and brokers will have to be persuaded...... AIMHO etc | lovat scout

09/11/2018 08:46 | Fest I'm quiet because I'm busy. I like to do things myself. Room with a door blocked up and need to re-lay a new floor. Kitchen being worked so cupboards all over the place and need to get a new power source which means emptying rooms ripping up carpets removing floor boards, tiles removed off walls, walls chased just to get power from A to B for a nice hob. And some wonder why a 'simple job' can be expensive. | ![]() superg1
09/11/2018 08:46 | I shall be disappointed if friendly relations between NR and Ray lead to VRS helping fund a rescue of Haydale. They are a company that has taken the wrong path - we don't need to be taking lame ducks under our wing. Especially as we have yet to record profits of our own. If they do possess anything of value to Versarien, by all means consider salvaging whatever it is, in the event that Haydale ceases to trade. But I wouldn't want Versarien propping them up as they limp along with no strong prospect of success. Today's announcement from Haydale sounds like one of those that are typically issued ahead of worse to follow. | ![]() grabster
09/11/2018 08:46 | SuperG was doing a lot of DIY - I hope he isn't laying inert under a pile of IKEA parts. Those Billy bookshelf things can be a bit vicious. | ![]() tini5
09/11/2018 08:43 | Tunghsu could be the blessing for a big take off in China as it is ready to participate financially in any Venture with VRS. I won't be surprised Tunghsu takes directly a stake in VRS in the near future. | ![]() fuji99
09/11/2018 08:43 | Neill is in the US next week so I'm guessing no interim's then, likewise he will be busy so less tweeting too. The reason his tweet count went up so dramatically recently was - it seems to me - that both he Matt and David were fighting the shorts when this dropped near a pound. Looking after pi's interests as best they can given what they know. What a unique management team and company! (Not forgetting Peter of course who seems to be doing an extraordinary job too). Best wishes - Spike | ![]() spike_1

09/11/2018 08:42 | You are probably right-I would have to listen to the podcast. Expectations in timelines have been clear for me. Relatively small sample batches for collaborations this year and into 2019 with scaling up to full commercial contracts next year and 2020. It seems totally consistent to when I bought in over a year ago now. Club Sandwich9 Nov '18 - 08:28 - 47055 of 47061 "The only area where NR can be criticised for non delivery was saying "a Chinese deal could be in place by July". 09/11/2018 08:37 | vrs1 - I agree - one of the particular advantages of Versarien's alliance with Tunghsu is that Tunghsu - as well as being active in so many sectors where graphene can improve their products - do seem to know all about graphene and how to employ it. Unlike other collaborators who are still experimenting with it. I think Tunghsu will leapfrog some of Versarien's other collaborators in getting into production fast. As a company, speed does seem to be one of their key characteristics. What's more, it sounds like they are happy to chip in with funding in areas where it would accelerate progress. The channels to market that they offer are tremendous. | ![]() grabster |
