07/11/2018 12:38 | Quite simply, VRS have their foot in the door. China is the biggest market for Graphene. We are the envy of the market. This has become a Chinese, U.K. collaboration with our Universites and VRS at the centre. You could not make this up. I haven’t stopped smiling | ![]() diversification
07/11/2018 12:37 | Also, didn't Neill sat yesterday about "how did the chat with the customer go?" His reply "I'll let you decide" I still think that news is to come | ![]() andymoore07

07/11/2018 12:26 | We here in pedants' corner are not 'quibbling' about spelling, punctuation and grammar, we are correcting it. This is a brilliant team doing amazing things, that's evident, and if we want to attract top-class investors and customers the company's promotional materials should do justice to it. We can't improve industrial processes but can provide constructive feedback on this important part of the process. If it looks like a company is imprecise in its use of language in RNSs then it gives the false impression that it may be sloppy in other things. If we're going to be a £1billion company we should spell and punctuate like one, that's all! That and Neill spending too much time giving the oxygen of publicity to shorters are literally the only reservations I have, which is pretty great really. Oh and maybe sell the copper foam for cash! :-) | ![]() runthejoules
07/11/2018 12:25 | loglorry1 - You need first to worry about your shorts, not about PI's. This is the massive advantage that others cannot achieve. If you think VRS will reveal its secrets in a datasheet, you can wait. -------------------- Versarien PLC Launch of Nanene 08/02/2017 7:00am RNS Non-Regulatory TIDMVRS Versarien PLC 08 February 2017 8 February 2017 Versarien plc Launch of Nanene Versarien plc (AIM:VRS) ("Versarien" or the "Company"), the advanced materials group, is pleased to announce the launch of the Company's new graphene brand, Nanene. Nanene is manufactured using Versarien's patent protected, mechanised exfoliation process. This process uses high shearing forces to separate the layers of graphite to sheets of graphene which are less than ten atoms thick, with the majority being less than five atoms thick, ensuring the properties of Nanene are superior to materials already established as the industry norm. Versarien has taken this process from the laboratory to scalable production by investments in labour and capital, increasing both throughput and yields. The result of this is an independently verified, high quality graphene product, Nanene, produced in a manufacturing process that can be scaled to meet ever increasing customer demands. Nanene can be used in a variety of applications including in high-end applications in carbon fibre composites, such as the order announced on 29 November 2016, which was achieved with a tripling of manufacturing capacity on a short lead time. Further information on Nanene may be found at the dedicated website, www.nanene.com. Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "Having moved from the R&D phase and secured our first sizable order, we are pleased to launch our new graphene brand, Nanene. Versarien manufactured graphene is of the highest quality and our patent protected manufacturing process allows Nanene to be produced in large volumes at market leading prices. "We have already demonstrated that we can deliver high quality sizable graphene orders quickly and are confident of securing further significant orders in the coming months." | ![]() fuji99

07/11/2018 12:22 | And another Dongxu Optoelectronic Will Cooperate with Two Colleges Down Under to Develop NEV Batteries and Graphene Dongxu Optoelectronic [SHE:000413] will ply strategic cooperation with two institutes in Australia, mainly focusing on power batteries and graphene. Dongxu signed the Agreement on Strategic Cooperation with the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials (ISEM) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) respectively, the company said yesterday. It will strategically collaborate with ISEM in fields like battery materials, stored energy and batteries to power electric vehicles. Dongxu will propose research and development (R&D) targets and provide matching funds, while ISEM will make laboratories, equipment, researcher and its proprietary technology available. Cooperation fields with UNSW include buckypaper and graphene paper with high performance and conductivity, a super desiccant made from a graphene composite material and a super capacitor with high-energy density. Dongxu will also strike special agreements on joint R&D for each project with UNSW, it said. | ![]() bootie64
07/11/2018 12:18 | As NR said in the podcast "they give us contacts and connections" This from last year Dongxu Optoelectronic Technology Joins With Huawei Subsidiary to Develop NEV Charging Business (Dongxu = Tunghsu btw :) The partnership will encompass smart charging, power battery systems and vehicle networking products, DOT said yesterday. DOT will provide a new energy passenger vehicle platform, while Huawei's subsidiary will supply Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IOT) and other leading technologies. DOT’s new energy passenger vehicle platform will work with Huawei's team, which boasts extensive technical experience in batteries and battery management, to study methods to improve battery energy density and vehicle energy utilization rates, energy security and service life, DOT said. Huawei is also a leading communication solutions provider in China, DOT noted, adding that the collaboration will expand to vehicle networking products, automated driving and smart cars to help advance information technology (IT) applications in the country’s transport sector. | ![]() bootie64
07/11/2018 12:17 | log, so what is the daily pay for bashing a share. | ![]() nellyb
07/11/2018 12:14 | What is this "massive advantage" NR is talking about? Why doesn't VRS make it clear why their Graphene is better than anyone elses? I know you want to keep saying it's better but nobody can show on a technical level why that is so? No serious collaboration results have been released? The tech sheets available show Nanene is a FLG GnP similar to many others yet lacking in lateral size which we know is required for adding strength to polymers. | ![]() loglorry1

07/11/2018 12:08 | The shares haven't exactly moved much. Hasn't even retraced back to the level on Monday. I guess the market is just bored of these collaboration announcements. When we we ever see some real sales? | ![]() loglorry1

07/11/2018 12:01 | Interesting - imagine the stress: with some short term shareholders constantly harping on 'what happened to China - why is it taking so long'. And VRS are quietly holding their nerve waiting for the other side to give in, and at the same time - presumably - hoping someone else won't be able to come up with an equally viable graphene production solution. Incredible team with extraordinary leadership. I'm guessing that others holding out will now be banging on the door to be next in the queue. And then there is the U.S.A. and Congress. Now Neill has just about enough credibility to say - well guys - you want in, these are our terms, you need us far more than we need you. Best wishes - Spike | ![]() spike_1 |
