06/11/2018 10:53 | Clearly 30+ provinces, cities and companies in China are aware. Otherwise they would be using their own nationally produced Graphene! | cheek212
06/11/2018 10:47 | Has he started telling the CEO how to do his job again lol. So much gets forgotten when people focus on the negatives, lots of positives about to rear their ugly head for the shorters. Our biggest shareholder is more than aware of what the company needs to do and better than that he has control over how and when it happens in spite of what some may think. "revenge is a dish best served cold" | luckyorange
06/11/2018 10:42 | I notice Matthew Earl has been tweeting NR. He is the chap behind the BS investigation into IQEs joint venture with Cardiff university. Utter trash, as part of a coordinated short attack. Wonder if we will see something negative on VRS? | poombear
06/11/2018 10:42 | There's another big sell being worked I'm afraid. All buys getting cheaper, and I can only sell small quantities, and only at 116.5p. Terrible really. | festario
06/11/2018 10:41 | Phoenixs - exactly that. I trust the people I've met on this board and who I've had discussion with, in person. That amounts to about 40% of the regular posters here, Neill and VRS mgmt team. Everyone else, especially those that bleat about the same point because they don't understand, because what they see regards valuation doesn't suit their "view", is I'm afraid not going to have any impact on my decision to stay invested in VRS. I think Tim needs to go find a safe space and call Mommy because if he thinks that what's been posted alludes to death threats, we really are seeing mountains out of molehills. | tini5
06/11/2018 10:41 | Cheek212 3MT is worth around $180K based on pricing Talga and others have given. It's minuscule. How does this help? | loglorry1
06/11/2018 10:38 | Club, you are getting very boring now, as well as displaying an exceedingly limited and infantile vocabulary. I used to have a lot of time for your posts (except the chip-on-the-shoulder political ones) but they are now just depressingly offensive. You've made your point - surely, enough is enough! | senden11
06/11/2018 10:36 | There is one simple fact that appears to currently been overlooked and probably the main reason why no 'large' orders have been announced - we simply do not have the capability of producing a large amount of Graphene at this time. We already know the 3T machine isn't being delivered until this month, previously December. However even this machine is not being bought to make commercial sized large orders, merely to produce the required levels needed in the testing stages of collaborations, and probably cover small orders. So there is absolutely no point taking any orders for large quantities of Graphene until we have the capability to produce it in large quantities. For all we know NR might be delaying orders until we have kit in situ - no point announcing an order if 3 months later you are still waiting for the machine to arrive to fulfil such order. What we do know from the AGM is a deal with the machine manufacturer to produce a rolling production line was close to being agreed. | cheek212
06/11/2018 10:27 | Zagros, I care not what Club sandwich says or writes, the same for Loglorry. The only difference between the two for me is that one is harmless in thought, the other is a nasty piece of work. Both of them think that they know best. Both filtered for some time now. Personally, I'll just stick with Neill Ricketts. Honest and transparent, doing a proper job nearly 24/7, generous with his time and charity. | phoenixs
06/11/2018 10:25 | Nanene - correct, CS if you don't fancy it - GO - and come back when you do. It is happening .... | squire007
06/11/2018 10:25 | @phoenixs VRS themselves set a 2 month timescale in July for an update and didn't provide an update. If it was going to take another 3 years they should have said 3 years. Other companies out there are making very good progress. FGR was recently praised on Twitter by NR himself. The market cap of these others is around £25M. What justifies the market cap of VRS at ~£180m? | loglorry1
06/11/2018 10:21 | ff2345 and Spike, absolutely on the mark. The medical world comes to mind. How long does it take for a new drug to come to market? Many years. The speed at which new products come to market depend on so many factors. It has been mentioned before but I think it worth mentioning again; Nanene may well be used in aircraft, however the lead times between using it in for instance in fuselage production would be very different to using it in seat manufacture. Looking at the collaborations, there appear to be so many different potential applications and that is what is so exciting about VRS. One or two on this board have referred to VRS as being involved in a binary product. That is way off the mark. We re not involved in a medical drugs company or an oil company that depends on a drilling result in one specific area. If the Nanene does not work in one area there are a number of other applications that are so diverse that the risk of failure is now close to zero. So we have a very much de-risked investment. The key is to make best use of being the first in the market and to develop business relationships that will not be readily disturbed by new entrants. Once relationships are established with multi billion $ companies it will be very difficult for others to enter. | phoenixs
06/11/2018 10:19 | nanene does not have any peers...its unique. | jointer13
06/11/2018 10:13 | Only 9 times ita peers ........ We have been thru this, it should be least 20 times at this stage .. ffs. | squire007
06/11/2018 10:10 | Club has a track record of picking/twisting/hol | tomduck
06/11/2018 10:08 | @Zagrosfold it's pretty easy to say this but can you prove it or even provide some evidence? What justifies VRS market cap to be 8-9x its peer group*? For that sort of difference it should be blindingly obvious to point out. There should be a massive difference. *The Twitter Multiple. | loglorry1
06/11/2018 10:04 | Recent comments from a very stupid person "i have never, in 25 years, understood why I am so stupid and filtered people with different ideas? ( adejuk )" | cielos
06/11/2018 10:02 | Anyone with a brain can see through the paper-thin arguments of the bears, if you've done your research that is. Brain-dead thickos like CS are the ones that will get scared out of their holdings and blame everyone but themselves. | zagrosfold
06/11/2018 10:01 | All, Yes deals are indeed being done by other companies. But, are there any big deals in the public domain where it is obvious (or it can be proven) that the graphene being used is not in fact graphite i.e. relatively low value. Whilst not all of VRS's collaborators are planning to use nanene for added strength such as in composites and tyres and in the building industry, fact is that any such disruptive change requires a very significant amount of testing, and in the case of transportation and built structures: legislative compliance (more testing). Not forgetting it took Ford four years to introduce graphene/graphite into just one vehicle with one more to come: Since 2014, Ford and its partners have tested graphene-reinforced foam covers for noisy components such as the fuel rail, pumps, and belt-driven pulleys or chain-driven gears on the front of engines. The graphene is mixed with foam constituents, and the resulting parts are said to be 17% quieter, 20% stronger, and 30% more heat-resistant.. Importantly we need to remember that in almost every case, the time line is not under our control, but under the control of our collaborators. Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
06/11/2018 09:58 | it's strange that the trolls believe we cannot make the bear case ourselves and still continue to hold because the bull is so much stronger. | adejuk |
