Busy - I agree that the board is going through a bad patch as the general market malaise, potential FGR listing, nervous RNS junkies and the precarious financial position of some VRS rivals has simultaneously attracted bears and those with other issues and agendas.

War of attrition is clearly the strategy. Challenging bullish and bearish investment assumptions is to be encouraged but it is so BORING when the same cheap shots rubbish is repeated again and again despite perfectly decent counter arguments.

Maybe we should all have a BB sabbatical and hope the squatters have gone when we return?!

Exactly my point and similar to examples I’ve been given over the years.

I had a case against Nationwide, not being anal, I just pointed out the way I read it at the time of signing v their legal
team’s intent. The ombudsman fully agreed with me and charges were rescinded. I should have highlighted it as millions would have been returned to customers.

Hence these things have to be very carefully reviewed before pen is put to paper.

Can't shake off concrete for the moment I never knew it could be interesting. That paper showed a 146% increase in compressive strength. They worked on the type of concrete used in house building. That material is typically classed as 3000-4000 psi. Lots of additives can be added to increase this figure. Some years back when they built the new World Trade Centre the strongest concrete was 12000 psi. A company called AECOM used a concrete they had developed rated 14000 psi with new additives (not Graphene). The highest figure I can find at present in research fields is 19000 psi (not Graphene).

Would Graphene increase these figures by the 146% achieved in the paper on household concrete ? Who knows I can't see papers on FLG in high strength concretes. From the mechanism of action of Graphene I'd expect an increase size unknown.

The next problem at the WTC was the temperature generated when concrete sets. AECOM were seeing temperatures of 90c in tests of the 14000 psi material Anything above 70c diminishes the structural integrity. They reformulated using more fly ash, slag and silica fume to counteract the temperature problem. Graphene is a good heat conductor so would solve that problem.

It seems there's a large potential benefit in using FLG. A large increase in strength and way better temperature control.

A final point - 12000 psi concrete costs 3* the price of household concrete. My figure was based on household material. This new information suggests FLG should stand a much higher price.

I’ve seen a contract delayed by a month because someone queried a comma mid-sentence on a clause, arguing that it left the meaning of it ambiguous and the two legal teams had to edit/approve the change.

The AGM was 4 weeks ago

Everyone was buzzing as I recall...what’s changed ?

More great news in the pipeline for sure

Fantastic time for me to top up as I missed the placing at 1.45

Unbelievable space to be in; the “tipping point “ is about to happen

I for one feel absolutely privileged to be invested in VRS

This VRS BB has sadly deteriorated beyond being worthy of reading anymore. Too many people posting rubbish and taking over.

I hope that when the news is about to drop that NR can contain his excitement and that he operates like a stealth bomber, dropping the news into the market when those that will be short least expect it.

Observation:

These Twitter antics are going to far now, some are getting personal and it’s not good.

CS, you are twisting superg's words, he never said "in 1-2 weeks".
He did say, on the day after AGM (26 Sept), as a reply to sonny who had said that we should expect a China deal or JV to occur within 12 months, that he would start to agree with him if he "put a dash between the 1 and the 2" and he also said "before year end".
Also, he said that the AGM had left him (and countless other vrsfamily members) very excited and that he expected "£2 plus near term" and "On China JV news much higher of course".

I don't think anything has changer since that day, so forecast should remain the same (superg?), except that now we've got the opportunity to top up at a 40% discount.
So yes it hurts losing all this money because of the fall, especially after topping up at 150, 170, 180.. but that doesn't mean you have to lose your cool and become a terrible person... Personally, I have added some £ to my investing pot and I have bought some more at 112p :)

@spid Skeleton Technologies look the real deal. The video is really interesting.

Makes the comments from Roberto at Gnaomnat about adoption of Graphene being 3-4 years away in supwrcaps look a bit lame to me.

@Festario thanks for your kind words. Care to comment on why VRS should have a £150m market cap premium to it's peers when it seems obvious that it's products are no better and it's scale up is far behind?

Is it because it's peers have not hired two civil servants to help with international expansion?
