As a shareholder of course you can club. Thing is, it's hugely disruptive tech, it's not fevr selling posh tonic water to a mature market. everyone knows what tonic is and tastes like. Maybe email neill with your expectations. It's always expectations and meeting them that's important in business. He may have opportunity to discuss your strategy in a general way i imagine. I never contacted himself, but he seems very approachable. Aimo. Best ellis

Are we one day closer to a deal being announced? Or has one more day gone by with no news, meaning deals are not going to happen?Guess you have to choose!

Taking Graphene To The Next Level: The Global Graphene Expo & Conference
National Graphene Association

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Graphene Association (NGA), the main organization and body in the US advocating and promoting the commercialization of graphene, gathered the biggest names and global leaders from the largest graphene companies around one table to partake in targeted conversations. These conversations were centered on graphene commercialization, standardization, applications and product development, and global advances, as part of the Global Graphene Expo & Conference in Austin, Texas.

Discussions followed on the significant advances in the graphene market in 2018, potential of graphene in different industries, challenges for mass adoption of graphene and the need to refine the identity of graphene and address issues such as Health & Safety and standardization. Those leading the conversations included: James Baker, CEO of Graphene@Manchester & GEIC, Zina Jarrahi Cinker, Executive Director of NGA, Kari Hjelt, Head of Innovation at Graphene Flagship, Ray Gibbs, CEO of Haydale, Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, Giulio Cesareo, CEO of Directa Plus, Warwick Grigor, First Graphene, Angela Hight Walker, Senior Researcher at National Institute of Standards and Technology, Bernhard Munzing, Sales Director at Sixth Element, Niloofar Ketabi, NanoXplore, Alex Jouvray, Aixtron and several more influential players in the graphene space.
“This is ‘the’ global event for the graphene companies and stakeholders to come together and showcase the exciting future of graphene. The Global Graphene Expo also provides a fantastic platform for the end-user industries evaluating graphene to explore what graphene can do for their segment,” says Zina Jarrahi Cinker, Executive Director of NGA.
Events at the Global Graphene Expo included roundtable discussions on standardization, health and safety, graphene impact on the semiconductor and composite industry, and more. This gave attendees the opportunity to have an open dialogue with expert moderators on the topics while networking with those of the same interest. Keynote panels allowed the audience to hear and learn from industry powerhouses on specific topics such as the future of graphene in medical devices and telemedicine, the future of graphene in oil and gas industry, and more. The Stakeholder Session was a chance for the largest players in the graphene space to openly discuss the key challenges in the industry, such as standards, graphene safety, and setting up a targeted NGA industry taskforce that will focus on tackling issues and drive the industry led initiatives all-year round

desflurane - no, not at all like ITM. VRS has had a very strong rise - it has gone from c20p to over 100p (peaking at c180p), while ITM has stayed hovering around the 25p mark (+/-). And VRS mgmt is far better than ITM's - though whether it's good *enough* to take the company to where it could be remains to be seen...

"And you attract unwanted visitors that feed off it !"

what others feed off is up to them. holding the mgmt of the company I'm invested in to account for non-delivery is down to me. If this goes on much longer I might even start to wonder if the bears don't have a point...

The thing is club VRS are vey much ahead of the competition and when the demand for graphene starts to bite big that's when meaningful contracts will be signed. VRS will be at the front of the supply chain, just a bit more patience required that's all.

club tries to muster arguments for his position but he doesn't really know his position
he's insecure, impatient and afraid. he doesn't trust nr or that the co is what it seems to be and is afraid it is all pie in the sky
he may be right, but pigs might also fly
i understand him. which of us doesn't?
all of us have made and lost fortunes on aim promises. it's as well to remember them.
black swans also exist.
if i have a bad hangover i can get into his mindset but i usually just turn over and go to sleep.

Not really club, it's a forward looking sentiment share, all of aintrees points help build credibility and support the share price And re the planet, changing behaviour takes time. The evidence is there regarding harm caused by air pollution for example. And, only when money can be made from reducing air pollution, will a new 'clean air act' come in. Which will hopefully be soon, and with 2D eco solutions ! That's how it goes. Don't forget, new machinery on its way ! Aimo. Best ellis

"If he says none of them have failed, I'd take that at face value"

define "failed".

NR is an incredibly promotional CEO. I doubt he'd regard anything as a failure even if they collaborating company turned around and said "no thanks it didn't work". He be straight back with "well can we keep your name on record and update you with anything new", "sure". A Success he chants we are only delayed in selling them something!

I personally don't think it is possible to get NR to admit a collaboration has failed. Since they've been going on over 3 years one might reasonably argue that many have certainly stalled!

How about the £100K sale 2 years ago which was supposed to lead to repeat orders?

Other than the proven and superior attributes of Nanene, my reasons for investing in VRS are: the company leadership and disciplined management, the respect and acknowledgment that VRS commands from leading global institutions and governing bodies, UK government backing and continued support, and most importantly the significant potential and continued successful placing of a wide range of industrial collaborations. aimho

"Look at the world trading conditions for answers why we must be patient and let neill & co deliver on the opportunity here"

yes, just look at the world trading conditions. plastics killing the oceans, the WWF declaring a state of emergency, the global population waking up to the impending environmental catastrophe. Now you *might* think that against that background companies would be scrambling fast to work with a company whose products can help on so many of those fronts - but nope, no sigh of it yet.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Club, you believe VRS is potentially a takeover target soon but we've discussed this before on many occasions.

It's highly unlikely VRS can be taken over due to the shareholder makeup - there are no IIs with significant enough holdings to hold a club (no pun intended) over the BODs head.
