John, I think you're right in part, but I think VRS got to this low level way ahead of the market momentum as a total overreaction and in some small part, the fear spread from the innuendo and misinformation of others that played on some nervous holders insecurities.

FTSE down today but VRS has held its own.

If it went further, I don't think it would pull VRS much further with it from this level.

In short, I believe VRS has more or less found its bottom.

All imo!

"Not completely true Grabster,

They don't manufacture GNP, they do however manufacture graphene products,

They functinalise graphene, manufacture graphene composites & graphene conductive inks , they have the pre preg graphene that was used on the juno aircraft and the patented anti-counterfeiting conductive ink where Talga are supplying the graphitic material."

(spid81 post)

Yes my message was completely true Spid. I said Haydale do not make graphene. They don't. They buy in graphene produced by others and work with it. They don't produce graphene themselves. What's more their boss Ray Gibbs is on record as stating that most of the graphene they have bought in from suppliers worldwide has proved to be of inferior quality and consistency - which echoes the view expressed by others on this thread - that most suppliers of 'graphene' are supplying inferior material. Your mate Tim Kempster might not believe that when stated here by the thread author - but perhaps he might take the word of Ray Gibbs at Haydale? Or the report published this month at Nature.com declaring much of the material on the market is fake

Tim/loglorry keeps telling us that there are loads of suppliers producing and selling tones (nay, hundreds of tons!) of perfectly good material which he declares to be at least as good as Nanene. Sadly he is contradicted by news from sources better informed. Should we instead believe you and Tim? I don't think so!

People fell over themselves to buy shares at 145p in the primary bid offer, and at that time I'd have had to pay 180p to add to my pile. But today I can add some more at 115p, that's a 36% discount. And what's changed? The company has grown stronger, made an acquisition, and is a step nearer the China venture being launched.

There are some vector forces pulling many stocks down. I have seen this before, so , I'm sure, have you. The point is to find those stocks which I think are in the minority which are so distinguishable from others that they are resilient and then shine. Some downturns survive two years , this one could , Trump, Italy, Euro Crisis, Trade Wars , and , in my opinion , Brexit all helping(sic).Much easier to stand out in a downturn if you've established facts which lead to your striking difference really stand out.The next big drama , if no asynchronous , McMillanian events take place is fisticuffs twixt Italy and the EU in two weeks or so time. I'd rather we are strong before the plunge than recover afterwards.

It would be nice and of course we should be higher than the current share price just on what we know now. The future is looking positive for VRS and clearly the team are focused on the things we want to see happen such as an order or two.
