12/10/2018 21:11 | Happy to still be here. Managed to add a few at 134p during the panic, not as many nor as cheaply as I tried for, but HL couldn't oblige. Stayed quite calm by reminding myself I had "invested in a company" and not just "bought some shares". | ![]() hew
12/10/2018 21:01 | I agree with all you say lucky. We know the quality, as do the collab partners, as does uk govt. Uni's etc. Nevertheless, with geic opening dec, (many £millions of uk gov money invested) to have a visible UK testing service in operation wouldn't do vrs any harm. And give the uk graphene industry greater credibility in general? In fact, having invested £150m why wouldn't you do it ? Anyway, It could be announced next week for all we know ! Aimo. Enjoy yr weekend. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
12/10/2018 20:48 | Spike - you're suggesting that you feel accreditation may not come with this US visit? If so when do you think it may be? If I'm wrong sorry | ![]() sonsonnyjim
12/10/2018 20:47 | That would take an age too ellis, VRS have all of the credible agencies/unis saying yes it is good stuff and VRS probably building up a portfolio of evidence in improvements to various products as well. Forget it , VRS have built and maintained their reputation. Imagine, all of Chinas resources and they haven't managed to crack the quality problem and were flying in to speak to Peter! | ![]() luckyorange
12/10/2018 20:42 | sonny: re your: Spike - have you a revised guesstimate on US accreditation!? Don't understand your question? Why are you asking, I have already suggested this possibility previously. Cheers - Spike | ![]() spike_1
12/10/2018 20:42 | I sold all mine at 190 Fest and bought them all back for 112p. That or I caught the lying disease from the scumbags. | ![]() superg1
12/10/2018 20:29 | I agree lucky, iso standards need intl agreement. The uk has a proposed graphene characterisation and register service with testing by national physical lab, but as far as i'm aware, there is no indication that this regime will be either (a) to proposed iso graphene standards or (b) visible publically to investors or intended just for companies to view. Therefore, my call is for the uk graphene testing regime to be to iso standard AND visible publically. Hope this is better explained now :) reread my earlier post in this new light if you desire. aimo. Atb. ellis | ![]() ellissj
12/10/2018 20:26 | Core holding intact. Bought a few at £1.33 and £1.19. Both lots sold for some profit to go towards home refurbishment. Been around long enough to know not to sell in a panic but feel for those learning that lesson. Been there myself at the start of my investing career. | ![]() rafboy
12/10/2018 20:24 | Spike - have you a revised guesstimate on US accreditation!? | ![]() sonsonnyjim
12/10/2018 20:11 | For those with an interest in ichimoku candles 1.46 takes it back into positive territory and a kumo breakout after the extreme moves this week which were all bearish we have now moved into bullish territory. Shorts will continue to buy back. | ![]() luckyorange
12/10/2018 20:05 | How many times..... UKgov can do nothing about ISO, it is international and will be blocked by the chancers with poor graphene like materials for any reason that they can find, it's their livelihood! Nobody cares about the ISO, so long as the quality of the product is there and proveable that is all that companies want. Forget the fricking ISO ! | ![]() luckyorange
12/10/2018 20:03 | Still a believer. Held tight, no shares sold. Full faith in NR & Team. Rainbow you numbnut, world events behind this week's share movements. Have a good weekend all. | pauld8026

12/10/2018 19:53 | Spike, am hopeful of US nanene accreditation to coincide with neills US visit, following news trump/xi are rumoured to be meeting now at g20. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
12/10/2018 19:48 | If us/china and brexit uncertainty is causing the logjams, then efforts should be made by uk gov to regulate and get the domestic uk graphene industry up and running to iso standards without further delay. Seize the day here uk plc ! The dam could burst quite quickly if agreements all arrive together ! Aimo. Best ellis. | ![]() ellissj
12/10/2018 19:42 | Hi all, Well - I did sell a few on Tuesday 12th: 5k @ 1.57 and 5k @ 1.58. Not because I had lost faith, but I wanted cash to help cover a guaranteed position on a spread bet. Not the sb I already have, which is a guaranteed stop ( @ 50% below purchase sp) which is VERY well covered (I can go down to <60p), but to increase my sb IF and WHEN we get news. In particular the US Graphene accreditation for +Nanene, which I think (I could well be wrong) may be announced on Monday (after hours our time) at / prior to the 'Standardisation - status' closed session on day one in Austin. Some may recall - I specifically asked Neill at the AGM if accreditation would happen at the conference and - in my opinion - he avoided answering, implying it was a bit of an ask (my words). Others may care to comment? Oh I also increased my sb a little today. I really must add, especially considering this week, DO NOT spread-bet unless you thoroughly understand the implications and possible very substantial losses. In my case close to a £mil of profit in 2003 (if I recall correctly), and it cost me a second property I would rather have kept. How do I deal with the stress - I'm drinking it right now ;0) Best wishes - Spike I would add, I weakened slightly and bought a couple of K back at 1.32 yesterday, couldn't resist. | ![]() spike_1
12/10/2018 19:39 | Sonson Re. your post "Wouldn't want to be out over the weekend after the twitter hints tbh" I didn't see any "hints" today - please elaborate. | ![]() joeywald
12/10/2018 19:15 | Oh don't be silly rainbow, for some reason VRS and DOW have behaved similarly over a long period of time, 200 day MA tested on quite a few shares and bounced. I don't think it is what bootie meant when he was talking about the bollinger bands narrowing , however the flip side is it opens it up northwards and should meet less resistance. | ![]() luckyorange

12/10/2018 18:53 | Fest, it may please you that NR stated the aim was on turning existing collabs into revenue rather than more Collabs atm | ![]() sonsonnyjim

12/10/2018 18:51 | Nice finish to week, I have top sliced at various points from 23p inc some at 150p today but have the vast majority of my inital holding still intact. Looking forward to Sunday Times @iancowie article. He held and wrote often about Fevertree from a low share price and it never did them any harm ;) A merry wet weekend to all. | ![]() tomduck |
