10/10/2018 21:19 | Div - good post, I also had/have concerns RE FED planned rate rises and the knock on effect to the global economy, that would worry me more than share price swings here | ![]() haz101
10/10/2018 21:18 | Nasdaq down over 4% and still falling after hours | ![]() davemac3
10/10/2018 21:09 | Yep, and you need a plan for when the market corrects, it always corrects, healthy indeed. | ![]() richardc77
10/10/2018 21:00 | 700 points , about 3% down, bloody hell that is grist to the mill and a standard day on AIM, they need to toughen .... bloody snowflakes. | ![]() luckyorange
10/10/2018 20:48 | This is a healthy, largely a technically led correction, not the end to a bull market. Watching CNBC, what is clear is the market may have concerns that the FED could kill the bull market. But knowing trump and his influence on the stock market, he will be putting pressure on the FED like he did yesterday to ensure he keeps his balanced scorecard intact for the remainder of his presidency. If the U.S. could agree on international trade with China like it has with Canada and Europe for example then the market definitely has further to go imo. I am also a little shocked at some private investors and their reaction to this correction. I find it’s important not to panic, especially going into earnings. | ![]() diversification
10/10/2018 20:41 | Dow getting hammered down over 700 points now. | ![]() richardc77
10/10/2018 20:35 | From lots of blue upto 2-30pm then all my shares went to pot !!!! Still i played golf and drove 5hrs back thru Spain and survived ... lol | ![]() squire007
10/10/2018 20:24 | European markets have been in a correction for some time. The U.S. is only now moving towards what would appear to be a correction. All stocks have been battered, if you look at many of the stocks on AIM. Some are now presenting really good value imo. | ![]() diversification
10/10/2018 20:19 | Lol ..... it is a dog !!!! | ![]() squire007
10/10/2018 20:18 | Yep, however that is just speculation, nobody knows. | ![]() luckyorange
10/10/2018 20:08 | Thanks for clarification. This brings me onto my next query: There's discussion regarding T20. Wouldn't the date for T20 be next week, 20 working days after sale? | ![]() red7al
10/10/2018 20:04 | Just ignore the shorters pathetic individuals, businesses as usual for vrs. | simonlee40
10/10/2018 20:01 | We know nothing red, could be II's flipping from p/b, PI's trading it, mm's shorting it, the list goes on the only thing I do know is these things happen short term. | ![]() luckyorange
10/10/2018 19:55 | How do we know the volumes are PB shares? | ![]() red7al
10/10/2018 19:24 | I mean, not got L2 atm but if you look at the action today. We know a load of PB shares have come in late compared to others. We know upwards of a million have been sold today. We know, and so market makers know, that a certain shorter is short about a million shares. If I were a cynical person, suspicious of how market makers work, I might be asking if that knowledge might, with adverse market conditions helping, be somehow used to market makers' and brokers' advantage in somehow forcing them to sell any PB shares at the PB level so that market makers can get their hands on them (with a few PIs being allowed a few crumbs from the table here & there of course). Perhaps lovat scout or superg1 can tell me why this wouldn't work (not least if this person didn't, in fact, depsite presumably attempting to use aliases, manage to get any shares in the primary bid fundraise). 2+2=5? | ![]() runthejoules
10/10/2018 19:20 | I don't know if anyone posted Matt's tweet, their frustration comes through on where VRS are and they have to stay schtum " @MattWal79512221 Following Following @MattWal79512221 More Replying to @wellranson @Sonnyji88802602 and 3 others Cheers Andy. It’s a personal frustration not being able to speak about what goes on but I can assure you and everyone else that I’m not involved in this for a nice quick win on a political or economic news story - this is for U.K. plc as well as #vrs 11:46 PM - 9 Oct 2018 Tangible innit 👌 | ![]() luckyorange
10/10/2018 19:13 | it could be interesting to watch the bargain hunters before dow close and then tmrw | ![]() adejuk
10/10/2018 19:06 | Macro-econmic conditions are outside the control of Neill Rickett and shorters but they might take the credit. | ![]() snoopy12
10/10/2018 19:00 | Traders have done well fair do's , agree lovat eloquently put. | ![]() luckyorange
10/10/2018 18:56 | The VRS story remains the same. The company, management, vision and products are exactly as they were last week in the 180s. We've seen this dip many times and it pays to remember that it rises just as quick, if not more so. When in doubt I find it helps to look at the graph which puts it in perspective. Future news will only get more interesting as the story unfolds. I put all my cash in last week in the 180s and not sweating an ounce as looking 5 years ahead when you'll need a magnifying glass to see this blip on the mountain. Good luck all | ![]() moneysquirrel
10/10/2018 18:37 | Likely Distressed seller &/or PB wedge from last week left over. Once it's gone ? Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj |
