Having reread the AGM reports, I stand corrected on NR's statement about hexotene development, looks like not one of the main priorities at the moment.

On another matter, I reread this and wondered why VRS are supplying graphene to Chinese battery companies i.e. potential competitors

Thanks Toppix, et al. Great to meet so many Versariens. We really must organise name tags at the next one, it was a great revelation at the Buffet afterwards to see who you were talking to. BTW many thanks to Campbed for putting that initiative together.

Just had time to listen to the poddy. Top takeaway for me was Neill's admission that battery technology had been the weakest link in VRS's offering to the world of graphene. The acquisition of GNO changes all that and puts the company on pole in this E-Grand Prix as well. Coincidentally courtesy of a Ferrari (Prof Andrea of course)

Off the subject of AGM etc.

I would imagine that Mr Fox and Mrs May would have welcomed China news before the Conservative Party Conference, maybe a chance before the EU summit on 17th- 18th October? For political reasons,I am certain that HMG will want to fly the flag over any China deal.

How do you think the Nomads felt at the AGM? I should imagine that they have never seen anything like it with the number of PI's attending. Of course this is what share ownership should be about. Better shut us as they will probably be looking at this thread.

DAve

He said no fund raise required for day to day stuff, he has always said if a compelling opportunity came up then they would.

Having then done the raise they were overrun with interest as we have all seen.

I sent a message suggesting they should take more if the interest was there from existing holders.

Why spin through it all again in a few months when the dilution was so minimal it's not worth the distraction and the amount of typical city corruption that goes with it.

The bears were banking on such fund raising and the connected corruption.

And now it seems looking at 'things' some went short in knowledge of the fund raise and potentially can't cover what they went short on. So did they bid in PB having gone short Friday.

Brilliant imo, if you play with fire etc.

My first ever visit to an AGM, if they are all as fantastic as that it might just become an annual event!! I can't add to the extensive coverage other than to say if you are holding off the US for the time being until you can tell them they are a bit behind China that is seriously impressive for a little company in Gloucestershire. Very inspiring and these shares will have to be literally prised out of my hands!! Also great to put some faces to names in the 'Versarian family'

Oh I thought you meant The Old Bull and The Young Bull, for a minute there SG1 ;0)

We should not begrudge DCTA's happy day today. Great to see any graphene application getting such a reception from the market. Looks like a good use for GO or GO+, which VRS considers a waste product over here. Look at that DCTA chart and think what will happen when VRS lands a really big fish. Are you listening Rainbow?

Thanks Shavian

I had forgotten about that

Total requests were very large, so we were able to identify and take out some bidders who had less than good intentions.

Hmm the plot thickens.

Hoverflyman: Thanks for your input which neatly covers a couple of points I had omitted, namely the constraints on space in the Cheltenham plant, and Neill's insistence on an orderly manageable progression, which entails having to soft-pedal numerous appetising prospects for the time being. I'm minded of the old story of the old bull and the young bull standing on a hill looking down at the herd:

Young bull: Hey Dad, lets run down the hill and have a couple of those cows
Old Bull: No son, let's walk down and have 'em all

Ooops That'll get me into trouble with the #MeToo crowd - apologies.

BTW Hover, sorry you had to run off before the buffet. Two of my party were fellow aviators who had flown into Staverton from Suffolk in their RV6 for the meeting. There's keen!

PS: One Hundred and eighteeeee, all over again

Odd comment Hexotene is produced the same kit.

As in the original RNS re the tech it's suitable for graphene and other materials.
