Recently, a team of scientists led by Pablo Jarillo-Herrero at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) created a huge stir in the field of condensed matter physics when they showed that two sheets of graphene twisted at specific angles—dubbed "magic-angle" graphene—display two emergent phases of matter not observed in single sheets of graphene.

Researchers at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign have recently shown that the insulating behavior reported by the MIT team has been misattributed. Professor Philip Phillips, a noted expert in the physics of Mott insulators, says a careful review of the MIT experimental data by his team revealed that the insulating behavior of the "magic-angle" graphene is not Mott insulation, but something even more profound—a Wigner crystal

The market makers will be running some short positions in advance of the stock being issued tomorrow.

The theory being they expect quite a bit of selling over the next 3 days so they will try and drop the price to cover the short.

19/20 times it makes them money.

I believe the flipping options have been materially restricted.

VRS has control of who got shares via PB and they would have been well aware of flippers. Should they choose they could have given priory to current shareholders. They have the list and would be able to see who was biding for what on PB.

Yes I could see circs where if a PIs had 10k 20k here and picked up that amount on PB they they could simply sell on open this week and replace them with shares at 145p.

The point there is to do that you have to have £15k to £30k sat in suitable account to transfer to PB sharpish Friday. Many will just see it as a good add to their holding.

I imagine many are hoping for flippers and lower prices as are those short.

Material news over and above the norm imo isn't that far away. So for me the flippers present an opportunity.

I listened very carefully to some points said yesterday and little bits may mean more to me than others.

I simply asked the question to alert PIs that there is more the Gnano than is obvious (still working on it)

Bought yesterday but never mind, few pence away. Seems like Cup & Handle formation is developing from Chart perspective. Correct me if i am wrong, JH, LO, B64.

And the buys will be smaller because their demand is probably bigger than those sells. The cornerstone is below tri notification, but for how much longer is anyones guess? Certainly, it's fair to say some agressive buying has gone on in this share at times since 60p's ! Aimo. Best ellis

I think you're right pshevlin, in fact it started Monday with those who bought more but only wanted to maintain current position. Not concerned by Flippers - the most they can really sell is 3% of the company. SP's already gone down by more than that today. Daft, isn't it?

Having said that, I might sell a few when China, AECOM etc first orders come in if only because I think materially improving my life with a garden flat back in London would be better for me and my cat now than more money when I'm old and retired. Looking for about £5 there though. Good luck catching those dips, looks like you have to be quick!

Looking like a well red share today just as I predicted prior to the AGM. The euphoria is rapidly evaporating.
