22/8/2018 11:42 | rtj - yes it is my understanding (not an expert) that nanotubes are akin to asbestos i.e. they can get into your lungs and act as a minute irritant i.e. pointy stick. This would be during the manufacturing process - not end user. Graphene has no 'pointy sticks' and is safe once part of the material it is there to strengthen (or whatever). Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
22/8/2018 11:41 | Intraday over last 5 days (30min) its knocking on the door :) | bootie64
22/8/2018 11:40 | Everybody seems to be jumping on the the 'can sell at xxx' or 'can buy at zzz' bandwagon for some reason. Might as well join in; I believe I will be able to sell at 5.00 sometime in the future... | turbocharge

22/8/2018 11:37 | Rock - you're more than welcome, we are all family here. Mind you, I was at an AGM (one of the Directors) and we got a query regarding a mathematical error in the accounts as presented. We didn't have our Auditors there so were unable to say if this was the only error so had to withdraw the motion to pass the accounts. Turns out it was the only error but it wasn't even an error it was a necessary rounding 'error' (a few pence) to enable this particular figure to be available as a comparator, it wasn't part of the current year's accounts. Ho hum | spike_1
22/8/2018 11:33 | Aren't nanotubes really bad for the environment? Hope nanene is a much better alternative. | runthejoules
22/8/2018 11:33 | Can sell 50,000 at 1.4025. No thanks, imminent bananas. TFC | the fat controller
22/8/2018 11:32 | Re: Opportunities in China. Not sure of how the maths is worked out. For example Jiangsu - interest expressed 3, proposals 1, joint ventures 1, research 0. Where does the extra interest expressed come from if it doesn't breakdown into a category of proposal, joint venture or research? Obviously its worth a mention but why? - otherwise why not have an 'other' column with one in it? Just inquisitive. | anotherdrink
22/8/2018 11:32 | This is heading to 1.80 in next few weeks without big news. Strap in. If we get the China deal we will see 3 quid. | 1crackupboom

22/8/2018 11:17 | "The standard organic anti-static additives used in PE packaging usually lead to an oily surface feeling and to conductivity that is only temporary. Unlike these conventional additives, graphene nanotubes allow PE manufacturers to achieve permanent and uniform conductivity while also preserving light transmittance of above 90%. Increased stress at break in the perpendicular direction by around 60% results in improved durability of the PE film. Moreover, the application of graphene nanotubes enables a standard clean manufacturing process without the powder or dust associated with using carbon black. All these benefits make PE film with nanotubes ideal for electronics packaging and they are thus highly attractive to manufacturers." | chimpandy1
22/8/2018 11:16 | Spike (post --987) - thank you for your clarification regarding valid votes. Makes much more sense than the page I was quoting from. Have edited my post --984) | rockraven
22/8/2018 11:14 | Blown film is also used for anti static packaging for electronic components. Graphene improves the strength of the packaging as well as increasing conductivity to prevent static build up | chimpandy1
