Lovat gave a good explanation a while back, some call them MM codes re an RNS which I have as nonsense.

I think the explanation Lovat gave was to test for any electronic automatic orders at a price by just outing a few up on a price.

Many think thatch small trades carry a transaction fee but as I understand it with large orders that trickle through it's a job lot price for the broker to pick up the shares at an agreed level, be it 300 trades to get the amount or 2.

I have heard that Versarien will soon be selling life size Ricketts dolls for the faithful to buy at a bargain 25K a shot or traded for 100 shares in a buyback. They will be made of pure graphene, very lightweight, full of hot air and difficult to tie down.

SP: actual mid is significantly higher i.e. 141, there is a DMA of 5k at 140 giving a false price, first 'real' MM is at 143
