19/8/2018 23:08 | Pcjoe, there is no doubt that mankind is contributing to climate change. There are about 1billion cows on the earth all producing CH4, another green house gas, have you given up beef yet? | johnveals
19/8/2018 23:06 | Ha ha what a great thread this is! From graphene to climate change to pornhub...funny :-) | tim3416
19/8/2018 22:55 | The flaw in your statement Serratia is that 95% (at least?) of Scientists believe it is likely that mankind is contributing to climate change - Even if many lay persons/sceptics doubt them ( on the back of what qualifications exactly?) - Surely the rational thing is to proceed with extreme caution? - Reducing CO2 production is just such a rational step & thankfully this is on its way if Mr Seba is to be believed - & we are to get cheaper electricity bills as a side bonus! I have Grandchildren - I frankly have always presumed that deniers have zero concern for those who follow them - Koch brothers & other coal investors et al | pcjoe
19/8/2018 22:47 | Pornhub, I read, is the driver that makes mobile phone screens get larger and larger. Don't know why. | sandbag
19/8/2018 22:43 | Time to 50m users is shortening. hxxp://www.visualcap I'm told pornhub was even quicker whatever that is. | serratia
19/8/2018 22:41 | That is the point Fest, there is a difference between correlation and causation (and what comes first, the chicken or the egg). And the figure was 97% of all scientists ;-), and they weren’t wrong, but then it was never a binary choice. | johnveals
19/8/2018 22:41 | 99% of scientists get funded to study global warming so a vested interest there. Probably 99% of those saying there's nothing in it also have vested interests. Now where do I find the 1% of each party ? | serratia
19/8/2018 22:31 | There are quite a few videos of Tony Seba, although some of them are 'repeats' | willoicc
19/8/2018 22:10 | But there weren't 7 bloody billion humans back then!Greedy ones, wasteful ones, squandering resources and polluting the hell out of the planet they need to live on.Anyone seriously think that the disgusting way we live this last 40 years has no effect on our environment? I hear the counter arguments, but I'll stick with the 99% of scientists who seem to concur on this issue. | festario
19/8/2018 21:59 | jv, I'm of an age when I remember the ice age predictions, too. Not intending to turn this into a discussion on global warming (it is a VRS BB), also I have a policy of never discussing religion, politics and climate change while sober which is my current state of being...Might be tempted to continue discussions over a pint or three if you're coming to the AGM next month! This was partly to show you can read anything into a graph and trying to guess future trends has it's pitfalls. If you do fancy following up on this, there are graphs which show a correlation between CO2 and temperature using the same ice core data - it does beg the question, what was mankind doing 120,000 years ago which caused CO2 levels to rise to the same levels seen today? None of the archeological digs have turned up any coal fired power stations or evidence of diesel transport (yet!). CS | cotswoldsparky
19/8/2018 21:58 | All hail SUPERG!!Now, kindly....... get that stock market open! | festario
19/8/2018 21:52 | I don't think charting is going to apply here... Nanene, Graphinks and all the other little beauties. Oh yes. | johnveals
19/8/2018 21:47 | Bootie64 - Clean Disruption. I am blown away. Utterly compelling. No mention of graphene but plenty of opportunities. If we can tap into even a tiny part of that... For those that missed it | johnveals
19/8/2018 21:20 | High Park Just a point on your chart not the share price claims. You are using the 200 day average for the share price not the trend line. EG on the 200 day average line it's simply the average price maintained for 200 days. You may note the 200 day line was sitting at 30p at one point while the actual share price at the time was £1.20. To hit an average of £1.60 on that line by the year end it would need to be £1.80 right now and keep that as an average until the year end. As we are in the £1.30's it would have to go over £2 to get to that £1.60 200 day average. Your line if you use that forecast the current share price as 85p when in fact we are in the 1.30's. | superg1
19/8/2018 20:39 | The great thing about that Tony Seba video is that it makes you realise how quickly 2d technology could be adopted. My timeline for company growth has changed. Neill's comments about this being 'disruptive' all suddenly fall into place, (you'll understand if you watch the video). I'm now more certain than before that 'sometimes you really can be in the right place at the right time...you just have to believe it.' Looking forward to another exciting week ahead. | woodpeckers
19/8/2018 20:10 | The share price is driven by news and news only. The prospects of the company are defined by this. Technical’s can define a share price on a short term basis unless an RNS redefines its future. Imo | diversification
19/8/2018 20:07 | Zap & Go are all over their own web-site with promise of products out this year and next - No escaping from that given previous form if they fail to deliver by end of 2018 - If I remember right they had 20 or so employees working from 3 "secret" locations - Not promising, but they have managed to convince some high profile & respectable collaborees (including VRS & Williams I think) & grant aid body to hand over money - If its a con they`ll be out the game soon enough | pcjoe
19/8/2018 19:49 | This was the reply I got from the performance ink enquiry | 1teepee
19/8/2018 19:48 | All our graphene products and projects are tailored to individual customers and are covered by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with the customers concerned. I am therefore not able to discuss them in detail. All that I can say is that we do not have a standard range of graphene products of our own. Instead, we work with different companies and institutions who are working on graphene projects. They lack the knowledge to develop their concepts into viable inks and coatings. This is where we can help. Firstly, we can help to formulate the inks and coatings. Secondly, we have the manufacturing facilities to make the products in bulk. | 1teepee
19/8/2018 19:19 | Observe whimsy. It will give you longer life. | alchemy
19/8/2018 19:04 | Bobs worth I think that was the point he was making | runthejoules
19/8/2018 17:46 | Rockraven meant I might consider a small investment lols !!! Think NR/VRS have far bigger fish to fry ... !!!! | meganxmas
19/8/2018 17:40 | megan - I sincerely hope that NR is not so smitten with Stephen Voller that he gets lured into buying Zap&Go into the Versarien group or even taking a stake. That really would worry me. The existing collaboration is enough of a punt in my opinion. Luckily we have some very impressive collaborations with real big solid partners, so the outcome of the Zap&Go relationship isn't crucial. I hope it does prove successful - but not holding my breath. :-O (now, where's my tin hat?) | rockraven |
