20/8/2018 09:33 | For me the two stand out lines in the RNS are: 'Versarien will INITIALLY work with AXIA on two projects:' "Justin Jin, CEO of AXIA, said:.... "We believe there will be many more opportunities to utilise Versarien's materials technology to bring game changing solutions to the market. We are very excited to start working with Versarien." Discussions have obviously been had about the MANY benefits +Nanene can bring to so many of their products. It must have been difficult deciding where to start! | woodpeckers

20/8/2018 09:18 | Versarien PLC surges 10% on collaboration agreement: is further share price growth ahead? The share price of Versarien PLC (LON:VRS) (VRS.L) has risen by around 10% today after the company announced a collaboration agreement with AXIA Materials. The deal focuses on the development of graphene enhanced composite materials and smart graphene devices using Versarien’s proprietary Nanene graphene nano platelets and proprietary Graphinks graphene inks. The two companies will initially work on two projects together. The first is Smart Buildings, where Graphinks will be used to incorporate sensors and thermal devices into composite building panels. Nanene will be used to develop graphene enhanced materials that are set to be used in structural composites. The second is Electric Vehicle applications. Graphinks are set to be used to add smart systems to a composite electric vehicle battery tray. Nanene is also expected to be used to improve the properties of the composite structure. Investors seem to have responded positively to the announcement of the deal, judging by its share price rise so far today. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is further stock price growth in the near term, with investor sentiment seemingly positive at the moment. The deal with AXIA could prove to be a positive one for Versarien in my view. It shows that the company’s Nanene and Graphinks could see demand from a relatively wide range of applications, with both the electric vehicle and smart home markets having the potential to become fast-growing areas across the global economy over the long run. The company remains relatively small and high-risk in my eyes. Its share price could be volatile after a 12-month period in which it has risen 9.2x. But today’s news seems to be positive, and investors appear to be encouraged by it. Should the company be able to deliver further agreements and upbeat news in future months, then it could see its share price rise yet further in my opinion. | curtain twitcher

20/8/2018 09:03 | OMG I thought I was going re an Amazon flat pack DIY “Each Pixel Haus design is based on easy-to-build modules,” Jin explains, “so construction takes only 12% of the time compared to typical building methods. We can connect all of the panels for a single module with eight people in three hours.” Further, he notes, this process does not require building experts, thus enabling do-it-yourself (DIY) construction. “We believe this DIY process is the only way to supply large numbers of houses in short time periods.” | superg1 |
